    Hello there,

Hope you are enjoying the new Gilmore Girls!

Just an FYI, you might interested in this:

For the record, according to what you posted in this thread:

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/updated-my-rig-i-love-this-rig.278728/

You are currently using a Skylake processor, not a Kaby Lake processor, thus you are not watching your stream in 4k.

You might want to consider a 4k Smart TV which has the capability to stream 4k gilmore girls.

Do you realize this is a Rockets basketball forum and not your own personal, sad Twitter page? We don't need to know about every little thing you do every day.

I appreciate the information. I know that you just lucked up on this through an internet search, which you can now pat yourself on the back.

I thank you because I've called Netflix many times, and this is the first I've heard of it.

But beyond that, and since you continually choose to keep this argument going, I'm going to say this:

A 4k smart tv is not a replacement for a 4k monitor. And a 4k monitor does not create an obligation that you must have the hardware to run games at 4k or you are wasting money.

I mentioned to you in the other thread that a smart tv can't run Microsoft office, but my 4k monitor can do that. And you know what, it does it in 4k. It gives me crisp resolution and fast response time. To which you scoffed it, saying, "if you bought a 4k monitor to run excel, or browsing clutchfans, lol."

Right, because only gamers like crisp, 4k graphics?

As a matter of fact, I do like browsing clutchfans with clean fonts and crisp colors. Browsing the internet in 4k is a joy. Maybe you'll experience that one day.

Oh, but when I mentioned: "isn't that what you are doing when you upgrade your monitor to play games, to get better 'clarity,'" you decided it would be better to give me a diatribe on the lag response time, even though I explained to you 3 responses before that, that this was a IPS, clearly the main function of this monitor is professional vs gaming, otherwise they would have made it with TN technology.

If you'd like me to explain to you the difference between TN vs IPS as it relates to gaming, I can.

And all this because you can't accept the fact that a smart tv isn't the equivalent to a monitor, which I have driven that point home time and again.

    I think you are confused.

I am not arguing with you, just trying to figure out wtf you were doing.

I'm a big Gilmores Girl fan. I watched every episode live for years. And I love 4k monitors, what a difference. My favorite thing in the world is Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. Nothing more important to me than that book.

I like what. He brings the lulz like it's 2007 still.

Plus it's cool that other team's fans like what frequent this board so much. I think that's pretty neat.

I just watched the episode where Jesse goes to Venice Beach, the dialogue was so good on this show they could immediately develop guest characters. Should have done a spinoff with them, or Mitchum Huntzberger just firing interns.

Just curious, but why? I'm sure it's a well made show but why pick that out of all the shows you can pick to discuss with sports fan? I mean I like drama too not just this hallmark type stuff. Do you watch walking dead? Westworld? American horror story?

You don't understand the Gilmore Girls if you think it is hallmark type stuff. Sorry. You don't. And I'm sure many people on this site like the show that you probably wouldn't even expect. It is one of the best shows of a mother daughter relationship that has ever been produced, it's not all sappy love story stuff.

I'd put it in the same league as Parenthood.

living with three women, including two daughters who grew up watching the show with their mother, I can attest to this as a semi-disinterested third party. My reaction to yesterday, however, is decidedly ambivalent.
