Former Sanders Spokeswoman: "We Don't Need White People Leading The Democratic Party"

Former Bernie Sanders spokeswoman Symone Sanders has offered an interesting suggestion that will surely be shared by many millions of others among the "Identity Politics" obsessed Democrat left.

These people are obviously racists to the core. Can you imagine Donald Trump saying something similar about the Republican party, such as "We don't need any colored people leading the Republican Party right now". If he said that, he would have truly outed himself as a racist, or as "alt-right" if you prefer that moniker. Of course what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

However, all that being said, if this is who these people in the Democrat party are now openly trying to identify themselves as, then why shouldn't whoever they pick to lead them reflect this identification? Should a group that identifies itself by its "white" racial heritage appoint a black person as its leader?

Alternatively, if an organization such as the Democrats appear to be becoming, identifies itself as being a party distinguished by its non-white heritage, how much sense would it make for them to appoint a white person? If this is what they are about and who they are becoming, doesn't Symone Sanders have a point here?

Trump has already demonstrated his prejudice. He can't do his job as a judge because of his Mexican heritage....that sounds like the textbook definition of racism to me.

Before I comment further, I want to hear from the brown folks.

Nah, it's just not racist at all so most don't seem to care about it.

Saying 'We don't need white people' isn't the same as "We don't want white people."

"I want to hear from the millennials and the brown folks" doesn't exclude white people. Millennials are also white.

Yeah.....it really was meant that way. It was basically saying "to the back of the bus for you" to white Democrats. No big deal though, that kind of racism is socially acceptable.

No it wasn't meant that way.

'Want' has a different meaning than 'Need'

If Morey says "We don't really need a stretch 4 to win." no one would then say "Obviously Morey is saying he hates stretch fours."

If a black man went to a job interview and the guy giving the interview told him "we don't really need any black people right now" and then went on to talk about how he "wanted to hear from white people and Asians".....I dunno man, I think people would think that was racist.

But that's not what happened here. When presented with Howard Dean she gave a couple of reasons why she wasn't for him taking the position. Then says "We don't need white leadership right now, our party is so diverse." and then goes on to say. "I want to hear more from everyone. (which is so neatly not quoted) I want to hear more from Millennials (who are also white) and brown people."

We are talking about someone that supported Bernie Sanders for president. It wasn't an exclusionary comment, it was more like "Eh, we don't need a white person in this position to succeed" comment.

This is typical of our alt-right friends. Take the words and actions of the few and use it as a means to smear 60 million people. They don't care that no one here thinks that the DNC doesn't want white people to lead it that's ridiculous. And stupid.

Then you have the racist post a propaganda piece about the left trying to overthrow the government. LOL. The same gov't that many of them wanted to overthrow a few weeks ago if Clinton won.

Why is this a favorite tactic of liberals? Take a quote and share only a fraction of what was said? This is just as bad as fake news.

Nice try but I'm no liberal. I figured out long ago that neither major party is an ally of my people.

Quite frankly, I think both parties are comprised of equally crooked individuals.

Lol... the pot calling the kettle black. Kinda like how Obama caused all the racial tension lately....

    Partisan logic is amusing.

Just let them do what they want; let them self-destruct. After Obama, I don't think people will be stupid enough to vote for another token to high office ever again.

If 90% of his employees were already black, I don't think many people would think that him saying he doesn't need any black people as racist.

Dem leadership is mostly white, all she's saying is that the party doesn't need white people leading them, there are other groups of people out there too.

If Dem leadership was mostly black, 85 year old women, would you have a problem with someone saying "we don't need any black, 85 year old women leading the party". OMG they hate black people, old people, AND women!

You are on a roll! Another racist post! Token black person huh? Obama has accomplished more than you ever will and 100 years from now no one will care about you or what you've put into this world. Before you insult the president like that, ask yourself if you could have achieved what he achieved or walked one day in his shoes.

By the way, look at how people think of Obama vs Trump. Hint, people like Obama a lot more.
