well if you think about it becoming a point guard makes your ballhandling increase, and your stamina decrease

also, Harden is a much better defender this season so naturally his stamina is going to go down even quicker

    tired legs are tired

Yeah all the sudden I find myself worried about clutch time situations and who the hell we go too. It seems like the clutchness James had in 14-15 has disappeared

He's not as clutch as he was in 14-15. Those contested shots aren't falling anymore. He needs to start playing in the post more.

To be fair harden in 14/15 was as clutch as anyone in the history of the league statistically so keeping that pace was just not sustainable.

With that said his ft need to get back to normal but he did hit a very clutch mid range jumper down the stretch so all in all he's still pretty clutch as well as a very nice dish to ariza for a corner three in the last 3 min.

Maybe he just doesn't want the media to blame his scoring on free throws

Too proud to shoot them underhanded. Sad.

I'll say that Stepback three on Utah where he broke Exum was clutch...

And that turnaround jumper vs. GS for our only postseason win was clutch

But yeah. His FTs are fading, he's leaving points on the board. He usually picks up his shooting around January so we'll see then.

Tired legs, his shooting looks fine to start. Now it's flat

Has to be tired legs. Bullard made that observation last night saying that Harden was not using his legs and relying on his wrist.

Let Eric or Ryno take over the FT duties then. At least for the Technicals.

Has to be the A1 Sauce. Too much of it and your hands get slippery

I imagine that he just did not practice his free throws like he did in past summers. I would not be overly concerned though as he still is shooting well, and I imagine he is practicing again after missing the clutch free throws..

could it be his shoes and/or their weight? is he getting enough lift in his legs?

i feel like i haven't seen him struggle in the past 4 years like he has this year..

I always felt he knuckles the ball in, doesn't allow it any arc or free flow.
