If a white nationalist kills someone one of these days, will Trump be responsible for enabling that by "fanning the flames" of white resentment during his campaign?
Using the word "white nationalist" disqualifies you from any adult conversation. Go back to the huffpo boards.
Strange response. I can only assume that you think that no such person exists, because otherwise I can't make sense of it. I'd need a link since I've never been there.
It is being proposed because Trump knows ignorant people believe that crap. There are 25 million people LEGALLY crossing the Southern border every month. It seems if you actually wanted to stem the flow of illegal immigrants you make it hard on employers to hire illegals and you help improve Mexico (maybe stop the drug war so their country isn't destabilized).
Trump's told people to stop harassing minorities. Has Obama said anything similar to black people? Honestly asking. I remember him saying something about reverse discrimination.
So the few seconds it took him to say "Stop it" when put on the spot to do so is enough to absolve him of any responsibility for hate crimes by his supporters? Here is Obama talking about the BLM movement in 2015: http://www.theatlantic.com/notes/2015/10/obama-defends-black-lives-matter/412066/ I'd be happy if Trump can echo this call for solidarity among police officiers and activists, rather than use rhetoric that inflames tension between them. It boggles my mind how words like the above can be construed by anyone as enabling hate.
I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the OP's sentiment that Obama's partly at fault. Just saying that he's at least called for people to stop attacking minorities. Obama's statements there are vague as ****.
"There's no excuse for the kind of violence that we saw yesterday," Obama said. "It is counterproductive. When individuals get crowbars and start prying open doors to loot, they're not protesting, they're not making a statement, they're stealing." Vague? tsk, tsk.
Obama: "BLM, you need to stop being aggressive to white folk." ??? Not seeing that. BTW, "the blacks...."- ..... 1916- "the blacks"- OK. 2016- "the blacks"- Not OK. "But that's just telling black people..."- whew, much better. TY.
