I only know a few season ticket holders on this board. ROckets03, cato13, heypartner, Lil Francis. Surely there must be more season ticket holding readers. Jeff's Info on the Intro brought out montgo (a 10 yr season ticket holder with only 7 posts?!?) and Ali Cat. Where is everyone else? Come out, come out, season ticket holders! I wanna know who can hear me screaming in the upper prom and I wanna know who I can hear screaming in the upper prom. [This message has been edited by jamcracker (edited February 28, 2001).]
Don't forget me ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
Me! Me! Well they arent my tickets....I have to share them with my co-workers. But they are lower prom...Im the one and only guy you can hear cheering down there. I get most of them. ------------------
heypartner and I have moved down into the lower prom for the second half the last few games. Maybe you heard us shouting DE FENSE down there on Monday night?
Maybe...I was there...and I was yelling DE-FENSE too...even when no one else was. But that night there were lots of people yelling during some parts of the game...even in lower prom. At first...I thought I had mistakenly attended a Comets game or somethin. I mean...most of the time...Im getting dirty looks from people...I guess because I am too loud and maybe disrupting their conversations about business or the stock market. Just makes me wanna be louder! You can hear me doing my part from section 112 at most home games. ------------------
season ticket holder right here. ------------------ [This message has been edited by tacoma park legend (edited February 28, 2001).]
Jamcracker: Thanks for the pub! I try not to waste space and come in when I have something to add. We are in the upper prom and have been known to call out LOSER fans who leave early (especially when the game is not put away) or arrive too late (except Doctors and those with kids--cuz I understand!!!). I hear someone really getting rowdy on the food court side in upper prom down low...maybe 217/18..is that you? ------------------ "Their Tiger Kung Fu is strong, but our Dragon will defeat them!"
Rollinrockets - we like to sit behind the Rockets bench so we can hear rudy yell things like "24 High" or "Y Zip for Walt", so we usually move down into 121 or 120. We sat on the aisle in the 3rd row in section 121 for the Boston game. montgo - Leaving early is one of my pet peeves too. I've heard children begging their parents to let them stay. I figure most of the early leavers are coming to their only game of the year (or else I'd recognize them), and I can't believe people would spend $92+ to attend one game, and then leave early. Unbelievable. Our regular seats are in the upper prom, right in front of the opposing bench, and I've worn my Dream jersey to almost every game. Any cc.net season ticket holders who are cigarette smokers? I'd love to meet some fellow cc.netters while grabbing my halftime smoke. Also an easy place to meet at halftime. This season they opened up a much nicer, above-ground smoking area (close to section 204/205), and it beats the hell out of that smoke pit in the parking garage. I'm outside smoking there every halftime.
my daughter loves the games and she is 15 months--she even calls out early departers. She wears her hakeem jersey too!!! if she has no complaints then we are there for the final buzzer... it does blow me away, because you rarely see someone leave the theater before the movie is over and that costs $7! ------------------ "Their Tiger Kung Fu is strong, but our Dragon will defeat them!"
When i am acutally at a game, i am very loud. I even had Karl Malone give me a dirty look! ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
You must be mistaken, he was born looking like that. ------------------ This space available for something funny or witty...
I am indeed a season ticket holder. Technically my parents (who ususally go with me because my friends suck) own the tix. We yell a lot. Well my momma and I yell- my dad is more reserved. We are up in 226. Not bad seats, but I would still like to be closer. Hopefully, we can get closer seats in the new arena. yeah! ------------------ Poopy!
LOL No it was even nastier than usual. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
Are you talking about Section 208? I know who you are talking about. A tall guy with black hair in the middle of the row around row F.
I'll be your friend!! No, seriously. ------------------ www.swirve.com...The reason Al Gore invented the internet.
I too am a season ticket holder. A friend and I split the tickets. I too am loud and have had Karla give me the evil eye after I screamed "Hey Karla, you fall down like a little girl!!!" (after he flopped when Matt Maloney bumped into him.) ------------------
We used to split tickets with a couple other people. But the drive to houston on weeknights became too much. But when I'm there my presence is felt. Now, we usually just save up for one or two games and get good tickets(usually behind the backboard. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion [This message has been edited by vj23k (edited March 01, 2001).]
