If people are truly interested in that, join the Democratic Party. Don't like the current direction of the party? Work within it for change. Go to precinct meetings, county conventions, state conventions and speak your mind. Contribute to Democratic candidates at the local, county, and state level so they have a chance against the GOP Machine. Part of Bernie's problem getting the nomination is that he wasn't a Democrat and ran as an outsider against the "establishment" of the party. I wish he was a younger man. He's made major inroads in some areas of the party that needed a kick in the rear. Sure, not everyone can have the impact of a Bernie Sanders, but collectively, change can be made. Those Sanders supporters who didn't bother to vote or voted for a 3rd party candidate hurt the reform movement in the Democratic Party, they didn't help it. In my humble opinion.
But that's exactly what Trump did and he pulled it off. Maybe it had something to do with the RNC *wink, wink*.
One of Rick Perry's achievements among his otherwise ignoble legacy will be to make Texas blue. I wish Bernie and Warren were younger too @Deckard. As much **** I give to the hippie turn sellout boomer generation, those two tried to keep that spirit true and understood how banks and finance would rather screw than serve the people if left unchecked
