I would lean toward Freeman. He is still an RB1 in the NFL's best offense. For your other two I would go Ingram and Michael. Both are losing times to backups right now, but will still see a lot of touches. In a PPR I would definitely consider James White over C-Mike.
Which 2 WRs should I start in my .5 ppr league this week? Alshon (vs TB) Ty Montgomery (vs TEN) J.J. Nelson (vs SF) Stefon Diggs (vs WAS) Kelvin Benjamin (vs KC) I can't use Ty as a RB because I'm already starting (David Johnson, Bell, and Howard as my Flex)
Christine Michael or Jordan Howard? I would go with Alshon and Ty If you are getting Ajayi and McCoy I would do that
Gosh I hate Thursday Night Football (Pryor 4.8 pts). I think that Graham will see red zone opportunities against the Patriots. Green Bay might be slightly better for TEs. I have a hunch Wilson has a good game as he seems healthier. So while NE is always a tough matchup, I'd gamble on the upside and go Graham.
Ty Montgomery vs. TEN, Jonathan Stewart vs KC, Dez Bryant vs PIT or Devonta Booker vs. NO. Pick 3 of the 4. It is a PPR league. I think Ty is rated too low on all of the "expert" rankings but I do currently have him on my bench.
Based on the carries Ty has gotten over the past couple of weeks, his spot at RB is pretty much secure. Loving his versatility because it's adding value all over the field. I don't think Starks will be eating too much into his workload after that injury layoff and the fact that he's just not as talented.
This is what I think too but I have a hard time benching Stewart against KC or Booker against NO. Ty might have the lowest floor of any player in the league right now especially in PPR. He got 10 points last week and only played 30 snaps or so. The Packers offense is at its best with him on the field. He may be the most difficult player to rank every week because people keep expecting them to go to a has been traditional back but their offense is clearly better with him at RB. Of course, coaches make mistakes but all of the Packers coaches seem to know he is their one and only 3 down back at this point. Still, if you were to bench one of Bryant vs PIT, Stewart vs KC, Booker vs NO, or Montgomery vs TEN who would it be?
Hope this move helps get me into the playoffs... traded Jay Ajayi and Terrelle Pryor for Julio Jones. Tried to get Evans but the Jones owner was willing and the deadline is tomorrow. Since I played Pryor last night the trade goes through Tuesday. My WRs now are Jones, Hilton, Fitzgerald, and Baldwin. My RBs are now Miller, Gordon, Ware, and Lewis. It will hurt losing Ajayi (especially week 12 vs SF) but Jones will give me a WR that I can start regardless of matchup and after week 12 (ARI) his schedule and playoffs look great (SF, CAR). Ajayi has shown he can succeed against tough defenses, but his schedule is really tough after week 12. Pryor will be hurt by the QB. What's weird... I picked up Ajayi and Pryor off waivers. Feel lucky to get Jones for them.
Need to pick 2 of these 3 - 1 RB and 1 Flex. Who would you start? Hightower (NO) vs DEN Diggs (MIN) vs WAS Kelley (WAS) vs MIN Thanks!
Wow, tough choices. I think Ingram gets more of the work, so even though MIN defense seems stouter than DEN vs RBs I would lean towards Kelley. And Diggs.
For brothers maybe in some BYE and/or injury hell... Need a dart throw WR play today? Dontrelle Inman, JJ Nelson, Jamison Crowder are all in fantastic spots. TE desperate? Lance Kendricks to the rescue. He's averaged 10 targets per game over his past 3. Keenum targeted him 12 times last game. The Jets are not good at pass defense. Bryce Petty is starting today for the Jets which could mean a lot of Rams possessions starting with promising field position. RB in dire need? Andre Ellington is an interesting play purely based on game flow. The Cardinals are projected to obliterate the 49ers. The 49ers have one of the worst defenses the league has seen in some time, but they are historically bad versus the run. If this game is done and dusted by the start of the 4th quarter, Andre Ellington may see a lot of mop-up duty enough to put him in consideration as a this-week-only BYE week hell play.
On the other hand, Baldwin and his 21 points was sitting on my bench. Pryor did so much better (4.8). Oh well, live and learn. Tough matchups in week 11 (IND receivers playing TEN, Baldwin playing PHI, and Fitzgerald playing MIN). Assuming the trade clears tomorrow, Jones is on bye. Hopefully my remaining RBs bounce back.
Check health on three of four... Fitzgerald is getting an MRI on knee. Ware and Ajayi were both out for a bit with injuries (both finished their respective games).
Had a gut feeling Ryan Mathews would ball against a weak run defense, but let the experts talk me out of starting him. THANKS!
