Tend to have a low FG% when more than half of your shots come from 3 even if you're hitting 42%+ from 3. I haven't looked at his updated TS% but I wouldn't be surprised if he's still above league average even with this horrendous shooting night. At worst he's at league average currently.

also tend to have a low FG% when you can't finish simple layups in the paint time and time again b/c you keep getting swatted. i wonder where he stands leaguewise in terms of blocked attempts. think he had 3 tonite

Anderson is shooting 44% 3s for more than 1/2 his shots. Was at a blistering 48% prior to this game.

He's shooting 58% TS% prior to this game.

Considering everything, this Spurs win is 10x better than the Rockets' @SA.

    Parker vs no Parker
    B2B vs no B2B
    Comfortable vs very close

Rockets are currently a 6-7 seed.... above average...

Posted this knowing down 11 with 4 min remaining. Rockets made it much closer.

Still a better win for SA than us @SA.

Same 1-1 in the standings, fortunately.

Rockets have potential with an additional big (Tyson). Wolverine, on deck.

I thought in the end Gasol was the difference. He kept on stepping outside of the key nailing jumpers and getting his team good looks with his playmaking skills and Clint just sat in the paint while Gasol kept scoring at will.It must also be said that it did not help that the Spurs were getting helped by the officials as well.

Wish we had Beasley and Thorton rather than Ennis and Brewer.

Tend to finish at the rim with a 60 FG% as the starting power forward for the Houston Rockets for 2016-17 through the first 8 games with only 2 field goal attempts blocked. It's likely lower now, but you're over exaggerating a little. He definitely isn't the best finisher in the paint and he DOES need to clean that up. 60% is bad for a guy his size and it should be closer to 65%, but I don't have a problem with Anderson's shooting and neither should you. Even when he isn't touching the ball he still has more gravity compared to most players. I'd have other complaints on Anderson besides his shooting.

Thornton? no thanks. Gordon is 50 times the player he is but Ennis for Beas trade is looking horrible.

Not too upset being 1-1 with the Spurs. Especially when Brewer still gets court time, therefore having to play those minutes with 4 :(
Despite the loss, there's definitely some good signs compared to this time last year.
    Keep the faith!

Who said anything about Gordon? Thorton in the starting lineup to replace brewer and Gordon for 6th man of the year.

Live by the 3, die by the 3...and we got Captain every other game in Anderson, we got the other game tonight.

They got Parker back and he made a big difference, Bev will for us, as will DMo when/if he signs.

If Bev takes those 3's that Brewer took tonight we win this game!

Also, hopefully Anderson's shot was off from all that manual labor he did with those military guys and it will go back to normal

Are we just all gonna forget that Thornton was a locker room cancer?

Are we gonna forget that this dude non stop complained about touches and minutes?

Gimme a break, Thornton can stay the hell away from Houston.

People been saying if we split with Spurs that they'd be happy, but i guess the more you eat, the hungrier you get. Also, can the people stop with Thornton and Beasley, both are no more than bellow average chuckers, there's a team system in place, if you want street ballers, get outside and play with them.
