That is exactly what he does so he already has the green light.

eg at point? ewww i'd rather keep givng 5-10min to ennis and hope he eventually becomes a decent backup.

eg is best off the bench, where he'll look like a superstar vs opposing bench units

maybe in mda's offense it doesnt matter if there's no shot creator on the bench, as long as they dont play in long spurts. bev or eg starting idc whichever is best for the team. but the bench cant dig a hole for the starters, they hvaet o score.

Eric Gordon, stud 6th man is where I like him. Give me 15 points off the bench every single night and the Rockets are looking good.

Clear troll thread. You are clearly here to start crap with this silly thread. So you want to move the best distributing guard in the business in Harden for a very good scorer and shooter in Gordon? Trying to start a hate thread on harden? lool

    Terrible thread.

Seems that OP thinks Gordon is currently the starting PG, and that Beverley will be the starting PG when he returns (or maybe Gordon will stay there) OR that maybe we'll sign someone else to play PG

    Oh dear....

I think you have beverley start next to harden ideally so that you can have gordon take a lot of shots for that second unit

i think gordon can't play point guard full-time he is not that type of player. But he is a playmaker and a willing passer. this means that he will make the right pass --- the number of assists is not an indicator of his ability to pass. his real problem is he lacks some confidence with his dribble and sometimes with his shots (he'd pumpfake an open three to try to drive and kick). He needs to be unconscious and have no conscience out there (him anderson and harden are the one ones that have the right to be chuckers).

What should be considered is that even when he is with harden, there must be at least 2 plays wherein he can bring the ball up and have harden play off-ball. While I love our offense right now, sometimes it gets too predictable to have james bring the ball up 110% of the time sometimes missing the opportunity to run because the rebounder has to look for harden all the time. gordon or trevor is not even looking to get the ball from the rebounder to even try to push the ball. i think we're missing a couple of easy fast breaks just because they expect the ball to be in harden's hand all the time.

Harden is already blowing away any stats that either Nash or Curry ever put up, and he's doing it in a way that makes the team far more effective. Don't be dumb, people.

    harden/(p)ennis/brown
    eg/kj
    ariza/bev

I'd rather he just shoots consistently and avoid getting injured.

Also, whoever thought back then that EG would play side by side with the best point guard right now?

To be fair to OP, he is the only player other than Harden and possibly Ennis on the team that can run a successful pick-and-roll though

Gordon with 9 assist as of now, equal to cp3 amount.
Thats like 7 more than his 1-2 per game numbers.
He can be distributor if he puts his mind into it

I think his court vision kinda sucks tbh, Bulls defense probably a big reason why he had so many assists, and yeah, Weber played like a couple of minutes i think...?

I mean, I'm surprised by his assists. Never saw him as a playmaker. Curious to see how this trend continues.

It won’t. He’s very turnover prone off the dribble unless he’s making bee line drives to the basket.
