I really don't have the time for your ****, but if you could be bothered to read my other posts you might realise it's a little more constructive than 'complaining'

Saying Harden didn't play defense lets me know you didn't watch the game. He was fine. Has been all season.

Too close for comfort, but I'll take another win. Our bench needs to get more aggressive offensively. We need more pts on the board from Nene and Ennis when they are in there with Capela and Harden on the bench. Unfortunately we just don't have enough good 3 pt shooters when Ariza, Anderson, and Harden are all on the bench. It will be great watching Dekker improve as the year goes on. I was hoping we would get a big enough lead that Harrell could get some time and Wiltzer could get a couple minutes.

I did watch the game. For the season he's been solid but he wasn't great tonight. I was a bit strong with the 'not a lick of d' reference.

He took a nice charge which was great to see. He then also refused to close out on Porter and watched a three go down, he rebounded decently too. My point is, he can be even better than this. It's not that hard to get a hand up.

All in all he is having an absolutely monster year. He's shooting great as well, I'm hoping this is the season he finally cracks 40% from three.

Don't advanced stats show Harden has been playing good defense? At least I saw it was better than Klay Thompson and Jimmy Butler who are supposedly defensive aces.

Hardens D has been okay all year. Can't really complain. The problem now is guys like Ryno, Nene, Clint, Brewer, Sam completely blow on defense.

Side note EG has been a huge surprise on the defensive end this year

    LOL my ****?

    I read your posts.

What Harden is doing right now is not good, its not great, its not MVP level. It is ****ing historic. It is legendary. He is performing at levels never seen before. Your nitpicking in itself, not that big of a deal, the fact that you would outright lie about "not playing a lick of defense", when his defense was actually quite good tonight shows you have an agenda.

If so, it's because he tires guys due to his offense.

There was a long-time stat showing Nash as a good defender.

So what exactly was 'good' about those minutes?
    1 Point. Only made 1 of 2 FT's. 2 TO's. That's good basketball?
Do you ever REALLY watch Ennis when he plays?
He's scared to shoot and only dribbles around to see how he can get rid of the ball.
I saw him drive the lane, had a wide open floater in the lane, but instead was too scared to shoot.
Tried to force the ball to Capela underneath instead. Turnover. . . . .
Also saw him clunk a 3 Pt attempt.
I'm sorry, but we can't do any worse with Brown. At least he can shoot.
I don't understand MDA's love affair with Ennis.

I personally would like to at least experiment with a bench backcourt of
Gordon and Brown. Gordon to run the point much like Harden does
and Brown as SG and additional playmaker.

the rockets have beat 3 teams this season (mavs twice) with a combined record of 5-19. split the next 2 against the spurs and they prove they can beat the good teams.

to be honest it looks like the official does this gesture that kind of blocks John Wall but his arm position hardly extends out so wall was gonna bump into him anyway and if the rule is you cannot make any contact with the official then the tech is deserved. However if this was live ball situation I would say the opposite.

I really dont. Harden is my favourite player. No one is disputing how good he has been. What I'm saying is he can be even better, and yes I am talking about his turnovers.

You call it nitpicking, I call it constructive criticism. No one expects him to never turn the ball over, but he set the record last season and he is on historic track again. Do you not want harden to be the best player he can possibly be? Baffling if otherwise. Being smarter with the passes he attempts is a big step towards that.

Is that not what you want?

I said I overreached on his the defensive statement but I still think he can be better on that end too. But his awareness of his man, overall effort and rebounding have been top notch. There are times though where he just stares at a shooter and doesn't even get a hand up, no matter who the player is, that's not good enough.

After all this, if you are still going to insist I have an "agenda" and "complain", feel free to add me to your ignore list. Harden is my favourite player. Hes balling out of control but the fact is he can be even better and its perfectly within his control. I dont think some posters fully grasp that

DID you watch the second quarter?? our bench came in and gave us the spark we needed. ennis isn't gonna fill the stat sheet up but he moved the ball well and made good plays. he wasn't a negative out there and is so much better than bobby chucker brown. also liked him playing with gordon. Eric coming off of the bench was also a nice to see

Last year remember when the Rockets had difficulty winning games even though they weren't playing "real contenders?" If we can beat bad and mediocre teams consistently (they make up half the league by definition) I'd be pretty stoked. That indicates that we will have at minimum 40 wins and then we can get lucky against the good teams.

This is what i saw as well. Ennis is morphing into a lesser version of Rondo that can't pass great either:(

Exactly, most people don't understand what Ennis brings to the table, we don't lose leads when Harden sits and Ennis plays, he sets people up and has decent defense. Once Bev comes back, maybe we can even see a lineup of him and Bev together.
