Atlanta, The Clippers, The Freakin Warriors!

First any team that allows the Clippers OR the Warriors to win both games on the opponent's floor deserves to be lottery balling.

The Rockets are in that postion right now with the Clips and Warriors, as they both won at Compaq already.

And the Hawks without Mutombo, Hakeem should have a new season high, if Mobley doesn't play in that one.

Hopefully a week from now we will be 35-28.

We will be. Period. The Rockets are going to win all three, and hopefully defeat Phoenix as well.

While I hate to put too much emphasis on any small group of games, I TOTALLY agree. We are clearly a better team than any of those three. Being as deep as we are in the playoff hunt, if we can't get focused and ready for EVERY game from here on out, we really don't deserve the playoffs.

The Rockets should go 9-3 in March. Here's my prediction:

    Wed 7 @ Atlanta w
    Thu 8 L.A. Clippers w
    Sat 10 Golden State w
    Sun 11 @ Phoenix w
    Tue 13 Indiana w
    Thu 15 New Jersey w
    Sat 17 San Antonio l
    Tue 20 @ Sacramento l
    Thu 22 @ L.A. Clippers w
Sat 24 @ Seattle w (better win, I'll be there)
    Tue 27 Utah l
    Thu 29 Phoenix w
    Sat 31 @ Washington w

This only happens if there are no letdowns, and if the Rockets take care of a less talented team like Phoenix. You could substitute a Phoenix loss for a Sacramento or San Antonio win, because the Rockets have to beat one of these teams eventually. They will beat Seattle, because they are a better team, and I will be there cheering them on.
There are lots of "should wins" this month. If the Rockets don't sweep the "should wins", then they don't deserve to, and probably will not make the playoffs.

I guess you mean 10-4 by your predictions and if you include the games already played, 11-5. I think if we can do this the Rox will definitely be in the playoffs. I see Phoenix and Minnesota going on a losing streak.

I don't know about our 4th game from now. Phoenix as the fourth game in five days? What's the Suns' schedule like up to then? If we won THAT game, that would be a statement, and a big stride toward the playoffs.

I think I'd throw in another loss for the Phoenix road game. Otherwise, I'm on board with you, ZRB.

this season, the rocks have had problems with the clippers (who beat the kings recently, if i am i am correct). Hopefully after the debacle against the Mavericks, the Francis and the gang will take the Clips seriously.

    Go ROCKS!!!

I think they will beat the Spurs. Last season around this time, the Rockets started beating teams that they had lost to most of the season.
They had lost 12 in a row to the Jazz, before getting a win late last year. They had also lost quite a bit to the Sonics, before having a breakthrough game against them as well.
The Rockets are going to win all the away games attended by Rocket fans. They're going to beat Portland too, because I'm gonna be there!

Last season when we ended the year finally beating some good teams Wiz and Shandon were in the zone from outside and Cato was playing very well. Unless someone steps up this year to help out Mobley/Francis it is gonna be hard to win those games we're not expected to, ie. San Antonio, @ Phoenix, Utah. Our best bet is if Mo realizes he's still playing for a contract and starts rebounding and getting garbage pts. And Wiz has gotta shoot at least 40% to close out the season...

The Next three game test our character , We must beat the Clippers , They are 2-0 against us and they have beat some of the better teams this year quite often . we are 2-1 against The Warriors (moochie heave at buzzer, cat scoring 41) they have only one real weapon which is Jamison . the Hawks are a simple team , Without Mutumbo they have less offensive rebounds , Jason Terry should be held in check if Shandon guards him .

I cant beleive Jamison went scoreless(0-9) in 29mins last night, against a team he put 51 on last time out.
