I have to wonder . . . once this election is over Will the losing side 'believe' the results? It don't matter which side loses . . .. I think they both will think there was tampering, intimidation, tom foolery That being said . . . What does that mean for the country? A nation full of people that fundamentally believe their election process is corrupt Rocket River
There's no such thing as "winning" when it comes to this election, so I won't trust the results lose or lose.
it is just sad we are even talking about this, when was the last time before an election we talked about this topic?
When is the last time we had a presidential election between a grotesque reality TV star and a criminal? Lot's of firsts this time around I imagine.
I do not like Trump, but if he wins, I will accept him as the president, that is why we have the election. Republican party is turning into a joke with all the talk about no SC justice confirmation for the next four years if Hillary wins and impeachment of Hillary.
Impeachment is what you do when a president is guilty of high crimes....you know, like Hillary is. As to no SCOTUS justice confirmations, well, that depends on who gets nominated. If a true moderate gets nominated, they have a chance, if a leftist justice gets nominated.....well they probably don't have a chance. It's 100% on the president.
I do not think the email is high crime, neither is Clinton foundation, define high crime. As to SC justice, the function of senate is confirm any reasonable justice, not the ones that agree with your party.
Part of the sentence for mishandling classified information is that you can't hold office ever.....so yeah, given that it's a disqualifying offense to hold the office of president, it should be sufficient to strip a person of that office. The function of the Senate is to give advice and consent. If you disagree with how they view the law and think they will harm the country with their interpretations of the law, then you aren't likely to consent.
Trump is playing up the narrative that the election process is unfair. If he loses, it's almost guaranteed that he will ask for a recount, even if Hillary wins by a decent margin. He's a constant, dysfunctional circus. If he even attempted to accept loss, it's too far out of his political narrative to be genuine. My fear is that this thing will go on and on for that reason. My greater fear is that Americans will lose their sense of logic and vote for Trump because they dislike Hillary on a personal level. There's a difference...voting for a candidate FOR that candidate and voting for a candidate to spite the other. Donald has conditioned his base to be so petty and polarizing. I hope that the undecided voters steer clear from the Trump crowds who try to intimidate with false propaganda and an aggression that's so unfocused. We're in dangerous territory. It's still hard for me to understand how people allowed such a sinister, divisive man to get this close to the presidency. I understand the overall dislike for Hillary, and while she's not my favorite, you couldn't convince me to ever vote for anything like Trump. If he were a liberal, I wouldn't be able to vote for him either. To me, this election isn't even about Dem vs. Repubs. It's a threat to decency. I think a Trump victory will damage every international relationship we have, but even more, it will harm every social/civil-rights related progression that we've had over the years. Living in a state where Mexican culture thrives as something beautiful to me, I can feel the fear of my Mexican "neighbors" with Trump so close to having the keys to control. That's just one example, but it serves as a reminder to me that this is all beyond politics. It comes down to believing in progress over chaos. Even today, with one of my players, I looked at him and wondered how his view of America might change if Trump wins. He's a Muslim and prays before and after our games. If I were his age, and the land I lived in voted for Donald--after everything including his pu**y grabbing comments--I'd probably be overly-cynical and doubtful about my opportunities. It really put basketball in perspective for me in that moment... We deserve better. Hillary may not be the best presidential candidate, but we at least deserve her competency and overall decency as a human being. Unfortunately, this election is up in the air. It's close. I don't get it... #HowSway?
I don't think the voting system is the problem. I think it's the laws and manipulation of media that is helping make this thing competitive of Trump. Sure, make it hard for blacks and minorities to vote, and allow the FBI and Russia to unwittingly work together to help Trump win might be legal but it is a sad sad day for America.
LOL again blaming the FBI and Russia for exposing the crime instead of blaming the criminal. The Democrats didn't have to nominate a criminal, they chose to do that.
Both sides are guilty in brewing suspicion about the election outcome. Trump says vote fraud, Clinton says Russia.
crim·i·nal ˈkrimənl/ noun 1. a person who has committed a crime. If you don't realize that it applies to Hillary then perhaps you should study that definition that I just provided you with.
