On today's shaqtin a fool, there was clear rockets hate. Obviously dekker deserved to be on there for his epic trip plus ball to the face. However, they put harden on there for what shaq believed was a travel and it was not. Luckily we had Kenny the jet to back us up. There was nothing foolish about what he did. Why try to find something that isn't there just to player hate on us? I thought this would end when we got rid of that big smiley guy.
I saw that which is ridiculous. If those sort of things make Shaqtin' a fool, then LeBron should've been crowned as a Shaqtin' a fool MVP 10 years straight. I don't usually like to play the victim, but panels on TNT does really seem to dislike the Rockets organization and Harden. They are really hurting Harden's public image and it's gotta stop.
Yeah saw it couple of days ago. That wasn't a travel, but after last season you can bet that Shaq will be looking for Harden fails. There were definitely better things he could have put on Shaqtin, like the LeBron FT air ball, the Noah jumpshot air ball, etc. Dekker on the other hand, that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen!
Did they mention Harden's three 30pt/15ast games this season? The NBA single-season record is SIX (Magic Johnson)
there were so many other worthy shaqtin moments like joakim noah's airball shot or lebron's airball FT attempt...but ever since dwight signed with the same agent as shaq, he's all over dwight's dick now and is trying to clown harden
I stopped watching Shaqtin a fool when they started adding McGee evey week, no matter if it was deserving or not. It's not a serious thing, of course it's biased, it's a comedy show, they're focusing on making it funny rather than objective. No need to get offended, those guys are memers, not serious sports journalists.
Why is Harden not out there fixing his public image? Why aren't we catching him in any Travid Rudolph type moments? To be fair, we aren't catching anyone else in these moments but why is the onus on the Media? If the Rockets or Harden believed an excessively beleaguered public image was detrimental to the Rockets organization then I'm assuming Harden's $35mm/yr gross and Les's ba-ba-ba-ba-billion would be out there hiring the best PR money can buy. "Dream2Clips" originated b/c The Dream was once viewed - IN HOUSTON and BY HOUSTON mind you - as a disgrunted, selfish, stat-steet only, organizational/locker room - sans the talk, thank you, Mr. Trump - cancer. You know who fixed that? Steve Patterson? Charlie Thomas? b**** Fitch? Don Chaney? Rudy T? No! THE DREAM fixed it. Not trying to "throw shade" - as DD and the kids might say - but if a grown ass man cares about a problem, then said grown ass man "handles mine". (sticking with the younguns theme). He's a superstar, he has national endorsement deals, and nearly immeasurable financial security. He also has the ears of the GM and the owner. If so much as a single damn was given by Harden, we'd likely know about it.
For real, since when are ref calls Shaqtin stuff. That's ridiculous. Hell, let me send them my Bogut compilation vid then Btw: Do you guys want to see the questionable travel in slo-mo? What did Kenny say? If Harden's right foot is down before his gather, he's good. It's a close call
Yeah, I mentioned that earlier. Rockets' broadcast stat had a "since year ___" qualifier. It wasn't all-time.
Who cares. Harden is putting up insane stats and is a top 3 player. Shaq and Barkley's opinion shouldn't cause you to lose sleep
Crazy part is that all this Harden hate is affecting public perception. The poll results for Shaqtin asking who was the bigger fool has Harden 2nd with 12% of the vote, over the Draymond Green pass and Browns pass/shot...
What are you rambling about? Harden has a $200 million shoe deal. The Rockets are worth $1.5 billion. It cost $300 million to build the Toyota Center. It's known that the Rockets have gone to the network and the NBA about Barkley's slander. Morey floated Kenny's name during the coaching search as a sign of respect when everyone knew it was a ridiculous idea.
Sir, to wit, wtf are YOU talking about? This isn't a "cheap Les" or "cheap uncle Drayton" argument. I'm simply stating that between the pooled resources of an NBA Superstar, a media savvy GM, and a billionaire owner that if anyone give a damn about Harden's media portrayal then the only viral vids/stories of him wouldnt come from clubs - strip or otherwise - and they wouldnt be broken by TMZ. Six figures thrown the way of any decent PR firm would originate a tidal wave of spectacularly positive "leaks" and viral stories/clips about James - effectively submarining any contradictory effort by the media. Morey's twitter exchanges and the Rox org. calls to TNT are precisely my point. Grown men handle their own ish. When DM and the Org felt something needed to be done...they did it. It's only Clutchfans that thinks James is being covered maliciously. If James thought so, we would know about it.
