Is it just me or does Ryan Anderson stand unnecessarily far from the 3 point line when he takes his threes?

I've seen him take 3s from around 4+ feet behind the three point line. I don't see reason to stand so far back, even if it is to space the floor, since opponents are content with him shooting from that far out.

Ultimate confidence in his shot. He's a catch and shoot player, nothing more

He needs to keep jacking them up. I don't care where he stands.

He does it to get more comfortable shooting space.

They don't have any plays for him. Might as well call him Bullard. I agree with FTW. Just keep shooting.... cuz he won't do anything else. Help harden out

No way are the ROcket going to cut into this lead with Harden on the bench. If we don't have a lead going into the 4th, this team is doomed because Harden only plays half of the 4th quarter.

Get that weak ass defender in the starting lineup or better yet. Trade him. He cant defend 5 positions

Dude it shooting 44% tonight. Problem is it is not really fire anyone up. It doesn't impact the game. I guess because he brings out the red blanket and says ole' on the other end giving up an easy bucket.

I like Anderson. Dude can stroke it. But he has ZERO business being a started on this team. He needs to be a gunner off the bench. IF DMO signs and has some resemblance to 14/15 he should start.

Anderson is having a hard time finding his way. He had that one good game where he hustled his ass off and got rebounds and tip-ins, but he doesn't seem to want to commit to that. I think he should step in 2 feet on his 3 pointers and maybe he can shoot 50% and be a lot more effective. Harden will still find him and he will still be open for enough shoots. He should force up no contested 3 pointers and only do contested shots when he is doing his step back on the wings, he's money on those if he is isolated. He just shouldn't forced shots though.

Ariza on the other hand should always shot the 3 when it comes to him and he is semi open, because he SHOULD NEVER TRY TO DRIVE THE BALL IN ON A PUMP FAKE! He sucks on that every single time.

Not efficiently enough to make up for his soft positional defense, pick and roll defense, rim protection, and rebounding on the other end of the court.

What's the deal with that spin move of his? It never ever works for him.

People praised it too much in preseason and training camp, it made him overly confident in the shot. Also, he sometimes takes that shot from like 20 feet out, which is an incredibly idiotic shot.

Probably because the defense respects his shot so much that he has to move back. It just opens up the floor more for Harden, which helps the offense as a whole.

Daryl Morey would trade his Mother for an upgrade. He knows we are far away. Everyone but James is up for grabs until we get that second star.

The question is, Who and where is that player?
