The Rockets must really want Dmo to negotiate against themselves.

Well that offer is still less than the MLE is likely to be next season and when they say that the first year is fully guaranteed that sort of implies that the rest isn't guaranteed. If he doesn't take it, that's going to be why.

Wow...is timing of that quote a coincidence to Stein tweet, or a result of Watkins calling DMo about the Stein tweet.

Was this break in news orchastrated by DMo's camp?

Lithuanian's Domantas and Donatas on the same team? That would be a tongue-twister.

They just traded away Ersan Ilyasova, probably due to having some big-time dough-re-mi locked up in their bigs. Maybe my sarcasm meter is turned off, but I don't know if OKC would be in the cards.

There is no 1yr deal on the table. Rockets are demanding a multiyear deal, likely with a most non-guaranteed money. Looks like they went up on their offer, and while dropping from $8m to $7m on 1st year, there are incentives, and maybe more total guaranteed money.

But there is no 1yr deal without a TO. Never has been.

Maybe Stein threw a bone to Watkins. It happens.

    Ah,,,,maybe.

If so, then all news went to one person, so likely a leak by agent to include the quote.

Aside the fact that the Thunder still have Adams, Sabonis, Kanter, Grant, Lauvergne (all young players with very cheap contracts too aside Kanter) and already burned a lot of cap room for next summer...why wouldn't they already signed D.Mo if they wanted him? Looks crap to me. Teams like the Nets need D.Mo more anyway imo...don't know, we'll see i guess.

He should get whatever he can, and he should not consider anything other than what is good for himself.

That being said, we could really use him in Houston, and with his skillset he would thrive in this system, he is the best PnR big on the team, and it's best positional defender.

Really could use DMo - and his numbers would be way up, making a lot more money for himself next year, IMO, he should have signed the QO.

His back is not a concern, same minor procedure Dekker, Dwight, and Anderson have had.....no big deal, this is all about the R in RFA.

But we would just match, it have to be a poison pill offer for HOU not to match.

Have fun overseas, maybe the Raptors would send Pat back to us in a sign and trade
