I am sure MDA has his reasons. As much as people deride him, he is still way smarter as a coach and player than any of us can ever hope/imagine to be.
Just needs to keep his anger in check and use it constructively. Has potential to be a two way player running the PNR with harden offensively and is a versatile defender. He has a baby hook shot that's a high percentage from 6 ft and closer.
i think its hilarious u kids talking **** about Montrezl. u wouldnt say this **** to him at lan, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes.
I love those highlights - but man, quite a few of them were really highlights of Harden's passing and court vision!
Harden made him look good but it's nice to see him looking good regardless of how it happened. He does bring energy, muscle and hustle that is often missing.
We have to give him some credit as he was able to give harden angles to make those passes. Even a great passing quarterback can't make passes if the receiver is not open.
I like Trez's Attitude on the court. He is a throw back to the mid 90's. Honestly you don't really see that to much in today's NBA anymore. Another reason Trez could be a keeper and make someone else expendable is because to me Trez has gotten better every off season. He has come back from every summer with a new wrinkle to his game and you can see he wants a bigger role but has waited patiently for his opportunities and has produced when he got them. I enjoy watching him play and hope he stays a Rocket. Historically teams try to keep guys like Trez around as long he is not a problem, but in the new style NBA you never can tell what teams find valuable out outside of superstars, 3 and D players, and bigs that can run the floor. Trez is a Tweener- Ben Wallace type(In my opinion he has better offense than Wallace ever did). Just not sure teams value that any more.
I agree that Harden was making some great passes to make him look good, but he still had to catch and finish. And some of those passes wouldn't be the easiest for some big men to catch *cough*Dwight*cough*
He does a good job leaking out on the fast break because of his speed. He could have a lot more points if he keeps that up because the defense is not set before he's in the lane and ready to dunk that ****.
Including time between Louisville and Rockets. You could see the work being put in during his first summer league with his shoot selection and then with RGV last season and over the summer league this past summer.
