i love the bench's reaction. you can tell nene was holding it in but everybody in the building knew that play was shaqtin fool bound. i could just imagine the ribbin he's getting from the veterans right now.
I thought that Melo should have been tee'd up on that mugging... errr, 'block'. Decker could have been seriously hurt given the defenseless position he was in. Just like how Green intentionally goes for the junk-kick, Melo knew exactly what he was doing.
That was a hard fall right before the stumble. After Melo sent him crashing on his postoperative sacrum, I was glad to see him get up. The court surface looked slippery last night-- had they done ice beneath it recently?--and players on both teams were slipping when cutting. Nice to see Dekker come back strong in the second half. Overall, I've been pleasantly surprised by his level of play this year.
He should have just laughed it off out there. Clumsy moves ... happens to everyone sooner or later ...
well, at least he's having a laugh at himself. i can't stand people who are so serious they can't joke about themselves. them knees is skinned AF. i've never fallen victim to the line monster but i have skinned em up pretty good. through a wrap and everything...that hurts! the worst part is all the BJ jokes for the next 2 weeks you get from the team lol "white guy" ok "black guy" ok even though you said black "white boy" ok.... "black boy" WHAT DID YOU CALL ME???
The replay in slow motion was pretty awesome on root. You could add in panicked dork sound effects as it all goes down. "noooo not the floooooorrrrrrrrrrzzzz!!!" I was laughing for a good 45 seconds. Yes I had sports moments very similar.
Hilarious tweet. Gotta love guys who don't take themselves too seriously. This team is keeping it loose and having fun so far. Even the Cavs loss didn't leave me too negative, like last year. On a related note, I remember when we used to have a 48 hour debate-and-apology fest for mentioning Jeremy Lin and fried rice in the same paragraph.
