Actually I disagree. Harden draws so much attention that Gordon gets tons of open looks and easier drives. As the primary creator it's tougher on his body.

He plays so well with james that he should continue in his role. There is great understanding between them two.

Once healthy enough Bev should be traded.

Like another poster said, Our bench needs Gordon but let's be honest...Godon needs the bench. His health issues are nothing to be toyed with.

Bev will probably be hurt again by the all-star break.

I would be fine with Beverley stating or coming off the bench. I think it is important to play one of our few competent defenders at least 25 min a game though, perhaps with Gordon in the 2nd unit since we need all the help we can get defensively without Harden on floor, to minimize the offensive dropoff.

I think when he first comes back , bev will definitely come off the bench . I think if Gordon keeps it up , then bev is going to have to straight outplay him to regain the starting spot .

Need Bev starting to cover guys like Curry, CP3, etc. No sense in wearing out EGs legs running cross court and over picks. Let Bev do the dirty work, then hit them hard with Gordon playing off Harden.

Guarantee we will see some 3 guard lineups to close out games.

Gordon is clearly the steal signing of the year, he is the single biggest difference maker on the team this season and is also the reason why I'm ok with Ryan Anderson being overpaid, IIRC Gordon might not have signed with us at such a friendly deal if Anderson didn't hit him up.

The dude is playing like a 2 way superstar, he is hitting all his open shots and still managing to play good defense, we even stuck him up against Lebron the other night lol. The only problem with him is his health, but I looked at his injury history and really everything seems to be due to freak accidents and setbacks during rehab, I mean how often do you get a fractured finger? I also saw an NO article that showed his historical shot chart, it's like he was made to play with James Harden, look at those 3s lol:

I always go with the concept of start your best players if the positions fit

Always have your best players on the floor. They've spaced Gordon's and hardens playing times, so theirs moments when one is on the bench and the other isn't.

The warriors don't put klay on the bench

The cavs don't put kyrie on the bench

Harden is the PG now, Bev isn't a true SG and he's small. Let him sub at PG

People forget because of all his injuries but he was a top prospect coming into the league.

and goes 7th overall, he's been a player with all-star potential. He just doesn't play many games. Also yes, most of his injuries are nothing that scares you away like tears or a back I think. Also he's a player that's always relied on his skill so he's going to produce well into his 30s or should.

It's simple: keep starting lineup AS IS.

Bev will slowly work his way back into game shape as he gets minutes off the bench. Gordon is our best shooter and needs to be the recipient of as many Harden-created passes as possible.

Starting Gordon will help our offense out to a quick start. Then sub in Bev at around the 5 or 6-minute mark. Harden plays most, if not all, of the 1st quarter and then Gordon checks in for him.

Been saying this forever! Bev is a bench player because he's always injured and can't play with Harden because he can't shoot! I don't care he shot 40% from 3's last year. That's from all the double team on Harden so he got all the open shots.

They double team Harden and Gordon will make them pay. Harden is a MVP player when he plays next to a real shooter and scorer like Gordon.

Argument can be made for both sides. Yes he can carry the load better for a second unit than Bev. But we are an even better team when Gordon is allowed to play off Harden. I agree with an earlier post, wait it out for now and even if they did start them together we can still spread the minutes so that he carries the second unit.
You can start him but sub him off early or mid way through the first, then have him start the second when Harden sits.
Getting Bev back is going to hopefully make us a noticably better team. I do think the more minutes Ennis gets he will improve to at least be good enough if needed. I still don't see the point in Bobby Brown. I don't usually buy into ridiculous stories like they only kept him cuz Harden wanted him there, but it sort of has to be true.

Good idea but I really like his scoring off the bench.

I don't really care one way or the other so long as the Rockets win, but Manu was the second best player on the Spurs for years and he still came off the bench.
