Here's two highlights from the halftime show.

Grant Hill demonstrates how the mere presence of Anderson on strongside with Harden causes problems for defenses.

This is Dribble Double Drag PnR
Both Capela and Ryno Set picks for Harden

You're getting it wrong, its not about blame. You shouldnt have the same GM Forever unless you've been winning championships. I dont think we're going anywhere with him I think the 2014-2015 season was the best he can do and that took Harden playing god like to do. But hey I could be wrong I just dont have confidence in him anymore.

This is my point exactly, Harden seems wasted on this team. He's not perfect but you give him good role players and he can take you far, the problems is he doesn't have support.

    Long season.

We will win a lot of games this year.

Close game. Seems like if we keep to the offense and keep the ball moving until we get a good look, we'd doing better. Looked like we forced too many shoots, instead of making one or two more passes.

Fortunately for us he is in a contract year, so that takes away some of the Magic leverage. Yes say a team like the Lakers for this case has better pieces to trade, but if they are out of the playoff race then he may have 0 interest going there. Which means no matter how much they want to trade him to teams with better young players (usually worse teams) they can't because no team in their right mind trades away good young players for a half-season rental. This gives mid-tier teams like us a chance or teams right on the cusp like say Portland a better chance. Usually in this situation the player has a list of teams he'd re-sign for.

Honestly I'd give up Ariza and D-Mo for Ibaka. Easily. Dekker and KJ are more than serviceable there and Ibaka is WAY better than D-Mo.

This is what I am excited about. Never have the Rockets had so many weapons, long range shooters and guys that can drive to the basket. If the defense can get consistent, then we're talking about a 50-win team.

This is literally every Houston team ever it seems.

Always led by a near one man show.

The Rockets needs are becoming glaringly obvious. The Rockets really need a starting caliber center. Really hoping Phoenix tries to dump Tyson Chandler because he would be an exceptional fit and could be the difference between missing the playoffs and the second round.

Clint Capela isn't the answer, he isn't going to be a good NBA player. Sam Dekker at times looks like he is very close to becoming a key player, the same with KJ.

We played good tonight and had the champs on the ropes with under 2 min To go being down 2.

The difference is the rebounding. If we rebound the ball better and don't give up so many offensive rebounds this team prob wins tonight. The sacs didn't really capitalize that much in second chance points but it's just less possessions for our offense and imo that was the difference not to mention the Cavs have two superstars we only save one.

But make no mistake harden was by far the best player on the court tonight and that's saying something when the other team has Lebron James.

I like what I saw and honestly is reassures what I already thought. This team can beat anyone in the league not named the Cavs Warriors or Spurs, but we are good enough to steal a game from those guys because our offense is so good.

Only thing I would have changed is I would have put Ariza and harden on the Lebron/love pick and roll in confident harden can guard love down low Bettwr than anyone else could have.

Clint looks OK out there . Quick whistles in the first hurt him . He's gonna keep getting better .

No highlights yet? I just wanted to see Lebron big plays to embarrass Houston.

Donatas Motiejunas would have made little difference tonight.

Capela is solid for where the Rockets got him in the draft. However he isn't a starter and isn't anything more than Sam Dalembert.

I really think those three turnovers with Harden on the bench costed us the game, coming back from a double digit (pretty much) disadvantage at the Q is not easy, too bad, but this was definitely a good game for us imo.

Harden 40 pts on over 50% shooting with 15 asts and 1 turnover. We still lose ugh
