Has Maury ever pulled a rabbit out of the hat like a Serge Ibaka or a Draymond Green or Jimmy Butler or DeAndre Jordan or Tony Parker or Kawhi Leonard etc with lower picks?

Who is Murray's best draft pick? How many all stars has he drafted? Don't give me the BS of low picks. While chances are less, you still have several all star players as seen at other teams who were able to draft all stars with lower picks (see above)

Again, not sure why people take it personal. I didn't say he is a poor drafter but neither is he a great drafter. He is a mediocre drafter.

He's a project, plain and simple. Not likely to be counted upon to produce within the next season or two. With regards to Morey's drafting results, he's had a few draft hits as well like Capela, Parsons, Brooks, Landry etc. He's a decent drafter, no Sam Presti nor RC Buford for sure but he's not bad.

Just for fun, let's look at players taken with the 37th pick:

    Onuaku
    Richaun Holmes
    Deandre Daniels
    Tony Mitchell
    Quincy Acy
    Trey Thompkins
    Darrington Hobson
    DeJuan Blair
    Luc Mbah a Moute
    Josh McRoberts
    Bobby Jones

That's 2006 through 2016. There are a couple of players that are decent role players at best. Not a single all star game between any of them. Onuaku is 19. When you have the 37th pick, you can't get your hopes up too high. Onuaku is young enough that maybe he will develop, maybe he won't. If he does, it will be a pleasant surprise for us. If he doesn't, then no problem since he was the 37th pick and we couldn't rely on him too much anyway.

    hi Rockets fans

I started following the Rockets when Ralph Sampson and 'Akeem' formed the potent Twin Towers combo. After the championships 93-94 and 94-95, well watching the Rockets was not always as entertaining as watching the Twin Towers dominate.

Now that Dwight Howard is gone, Houston is starting to actually look potentially much improved. KJ McDaniel, Eric Gordon, Montrez Harrell, and Clint Capela are fast becoming to be solid role players to play with James Harden. These new players plus new coach Mike D'Antoni is a potent run and gun team.

Now it seems the team just lacks a defensive big man that can block shots and rebound. Of course, Hassan Whiteside signed a new contract with the Miami Heat so the Rockets have to look for some other big man.

The signing of Chinanu Onuaku is quite intriguing. From having watched one or two videos of the Louiville Cardinals games with Onauku, I am excited about the chance of watching him on the court and show what he's capable of.

With what the drama that is the currently pending status of Lithuanian D Motiejunas, the Rockets could instead develop the potential that is Chinanu Onuaku and be the shot blocking big man that could make the Rockets a contender in the West.

I'm thinking maybe the Rockets have the roster in place -- just get everyone playing time.

Dmo has had his chances. Maybe its time to give others a chance? Just my opinion.
