    Having also enjoyed this recreational activity (sans lasers), I just don't understand the problem here. Absent a truly immense flatus event, there is simply not enough fuel to cause a problem. Methane and hydrogen burn so easily, so quickly, and at such relatively low temperature, that there just couldn't be enough fuel around the patient to have caused burns.

    The laser is just the ignition event, I assume.

    So I'm calling... BS? Shart? Whatever. I just don't believe it unless she had a record-setting gas issue.

    Thought I'd drop this here.

    The halloween candy and junk food I bought on sale Tuesday is making my farts smell pretty good. Usually, not much of a smell at all.

    I've seen friends try to light farts but never saw anyone successfully light one. I did see a dumbass friend position and fire a bottle rocket from his ass. That was one of the funniest things ever. The bottle rocket didn't take off as expected.
