I think he said it's too close to the election for the FBI to comment on this.

The Russians are probably handling Trump's audit. Nothing to see here.

As Americans who don't want to answer to a Russian puppet? Well, sure. There is waaay too much smoke now on the Russian connection, including Trump's own statements. Disturbing to any American, to say the least.

No spin required at all. You can't tell **** from DNS pings or lookups. It literally could be anything doing the lookup and if you read the article fully you would have seen that is exactly what they wrote. They don't even give the Trump FQDN that the Russian server was allegedly trying to talk to. It could have been somebody who works at Alpha bank ordering Trump Steaks before heading home or maybe taking an online Trump University class LOL from their desk at work.

They don't even provide the logs ahahaha!! They only say their sources have contacts with ISPs and they gave them the logs, oh okay LOL. Give me a break that's worse than Hilary's deleted emails. At least she admitted she wrote the damn things. Without the original logs and an encrypted has you have no way of verify if the logs have been tampered with which makes them useless because any jr unix admin knows where to find and edit dns lookup logs with l33t entries. This is beyond stupid I can't believe Slate would publish this garbage. The movies hackers was more realistic LOL.

Hey man listen, Trump is an easy target with plenty of faults. This is trying to hard and it's pathetic.

I'll humor you and slate though. The most "likely" scenario is some Russian punks have attained access to an Alpha bank machine (could be anything a server, a pc, webserver, etc..) and are running scans from that machine to try and break into a Trump website or internet facing server for something silly like a website defacing job. Even so, these are kiddie hacker bullshitery dude. There are kiddie programs out there that can do this for you, no l33t coding skills required. They even have a name for those that use 'em, Script Kiddies.

On my own PC I constantly block pings/scans from all over the ******* world. I must be very important LOL!!! This one time a Nigerian Prince was contacting me. I know because I verified the server was from Nigeria and his email address had Nigeria in it. He needed my help.

Holy Guacamole the Dems have gone full on Jim Jones. Honestly gents, this has descended into the nuthouse.

In other news...The Russian's are coming! The Russians are coming!

I feel like breaking out Red Dawn on VHS and perhaps Rocky III (is that the one with the Russian?)

Anymore of Harry I-Ain't-Got-a-Pair Reid declaiming Russkie-mania, and I have a feeling build-your-own-underground-bunker-in-the-backyard infomercials will begin to clobber the late-night airwaves.

So you have a Russian banking server hitting Trump's server at peak election moments, and you have his campaign spokesperson making factually incorrect statements regarding it, and then all of a sudden they take the server down.

Hmmmmm - nothing to see here! Gotta love how the Trumpies go on offensive to try to obfuscate.

It's clear you haven't read the article based on what you are writing here. Try reading it first and responding to the contents as you are arguing against an invisible man here.

The funniest thing is when Alpha bank learned of the investigation and immediately Trump server goes offline! Seriously, read the article before posting.

This would be funny except for the fact that the Republican nominee for the President of the United States of America has spent the last few months, to great popular acclaim within his party, saying that the election is rigged, a cabal of international bankers was working against him, the Chinese created the global warming hoax, he list the debates due to secret james bond technology, and all sorts of other unhinged stupidity.

Also it would be funny if it were actually funny.

    • "Tealeaves" noticed a strange pattern of communication between Donald Trump's servers and the Alfa Bank (tied to Putin) in Moscow.
    • He became curious about it and collected some traces on this connection.
    • He tried pinging the Trump server and his pings were rejected, meaning the server was configured in a way to communicate only with a specific set of other servers, including those of the Alfa Bank.
    • He and his colleagues contacted Paul Vixie, who wrote much of the DNS code that makes the Internet work.
    • Their conclusion: There was a secret digital hotline between Trump's servers and those in Russia.
    • What they also discovered is that this hotline was only active during business hours in New York or business hours in Moscow, strongly suggesting it was being used for human communication, not for serving webpages or something automated like that.
    • Also odd was that very large and powerful servers were set up to handle a tiny bit of traffic.
    • Technical experts who have seen the logs have sworn that they are genuine because there are items in them that would be very hard to falsify in a way to fool experts, such as interpacket timing.
    • When election political events happened in the U.S. traffic spiked
    • Trump takes his server down when Alpha Bank finds out there are being investigated.
This isn't conspiracy theory - it's Putin owning Trump.

It makes complete sense Trump would be tied to Russian banks. No US banks will do business with him anymore so he's got to go somewhere. I have no doubt this is the reason he won't release his tax returns.

Those are some great evidence, too bad the domain is registered by a marketing company name Cendyn, through a British women named Emily McMullin, who used a org name called "Trump Orgainzation" to get multiple Trump related domains. If you ever get bored you should take some time to go check out her twitter account, you might even become a follower with such insightful tweets such as this: "as if Donald Trump actually said "nobody has more respect for women than I do" my goldfish has more respect for women than him. #debate"

Yes I read the article that didn't include include the log files (which is their entire source) or the real names of anyone who analyzed the log files. Oh wait, sorry there was that guy named Tea Leaves.

It's hilarious watching Dems turn into conspiracy crackpots just like they Repubtards they made fun of. This is like birther levels of bad. Ya'll are all the same, just admit it.

Only a Russian sympathizer wouldn't know that it was Rocky IV.
