Nobody is saying that anything is 100% fact. But it is the best available evidence. And like I said the decision whether or not to fire upon a target requires less certainty than we have that the Russians are behind this.

 

Okay, but even if so....how's it a story that the FBI didn't sign on to it? Investigations into foreign actors is really the domain of the CIA, not so much the FBI. It seems like the only reason this is being talked about is an effort to deflect for Hillary.

Perhaps, but the FBI signing off or not signing off on a paper accusing Russia of trying to influence the election in the US really seems like a non-story. It makes no difference at all really.

 

You're actually incorrect. One of the stipulations of having a security clearance is not telling anyone you have one in the first place. If you should know someone who has a clearance by remote chance, they are not going to hint, speak in broad or general terms. That is expressly forbidden. They are not allowed to speak about their job at all. Classified information is very compartmentalized and on a need to know basis. If you should know someone who has access to certain material, then they have already breached their confidentiality and security.

Just the fact you think someone can speak in general terms lets me know you have no idea what you're talking about and why you do not see the significance of this investigation.

And why does it matter if the Russians are behind it? Who cares! Its the content in the email that has been exposes is the issue. Not who got it.
