I think there will be a bit of a drop off, but I think he still holds value. Cutler was looking for Kevin White a lot when he was playing earlier in the season.

Better to start (at Flex) Lamar Miller with the shoulder injury, or Terrelle Pryor vs the NY Jets passing defense with McKown back at QB? My starting RBs are Ware and Gordon, my starting WRs are Hilton and Fitzgerald. Normally I'd start Miller against DET but worried his snap count will be limited and the Texans will feature successful passing Sunday.

wow, tough call indeed. Given the rest of your lineup looking solid, I'd probably go with Pryor and not risk the Miller snap issue. Though it only makes sense because the Jets pass D has been so awful. But feels like a 50/50 play. I'd go with your own gut

The Fantasy Gods were not kind today... lost Spencer Ware to concussion, TY Hilton hobbled by hamstring, and Larry Fitzgerald hobbled by foot injury, old age, and Carson Palmer.

Anybody else get screwed by the Ty Montgomery injury?

News about him being out comes out after the 12:00 games are already started. So I was forced to look for a replacement, and all that was available was Adam Thielen. So I'm down 10 points in a standard league with only Thielen to go. Do I have a shot?

I put up a 115 point week (highest in the league currently), but I'm projected to lose by 0.1 points. My opponent has Vikings D going who's projected to get 9 points and I'm up by 8.9.

The second place team needed two RBs this past weekend and scored with both (Rob Kelley and Chan West). This week the top RB targets on my league's waiver wire appear to be Hightower (hoping Ingram is still at best a RBBC) vs SF, Prosise (more due to pass catching) vs BUF, Ward (hoping injuries) vs TB, and Barber vs ATL (though Antone Smith got the work this past week).

Since Ware is likely out with protocol and Miller out on bye, I am down to Gordon and Ajayi with Lewis stashed. I prefer starting a RB at Flex but need to go with Hillton, Moncrief and Pryor. My tough choice is Rivers vs TEN or Winston vs ATL (but on Thursday Night... the cursed night for football).

Maybe Jay Cutler will reactivate Alshon into beast mode.

What do you guys think the best way to prevent people who are out of it mailing it in for the rest of the season? We have a few in our league that don't even set line ups anymore, and it's not fair to the rest of the league.

Last place has to cough up extra money.

We're also going to kick out one of the players because he hardly set his lineups the last 2-3 years.

I hate Fantasy Football. I score the most points in my league by 50. I'm about to be 4-4 because I also have the most points scored against me. Why is my luck so bad?!

An early week 9 question (mostly because in yahoo leagues, some of these guys wont count against waiver position until after the Monday night game starts):

Which QB do you guys like for streaming for week 9?
    Bortles vs KC
    Flacco vs PIT
    McCown vs DAL
    Kaepernick vs NO
    Bradford vs DET

Interesting list. Easiest opponent defense would be NO but don't know if SF has enough weapons to score enough (its in SF, so Brees probably won't put up big numbers either). Bradford going up against another weak passing defense in DET (QB average 31 points against DET), but again, will he throw enough to put up big numbers? McCown has been pretty good throwing, and Pryor is a great target. Don't know if Coleman will be ready... if he is, that might be an interesting choice. Bortles will get garbage points. So maybe my choice would be Flacco... especially if Smith Sr is back. Wallace and Smith would make for lots of passing.

we started 2 things this year. (1) Lowest point total of the week has to write a weekly power rankings summary..and it has to be entertaining. Of course, this is only a deterrent if people care enough to do it

    (2) Basically a "sacko" punishment. Bottom 4 play in the playoffs for worst team, and worst team has to do something annoying. We came up with a list of stuff, voted on it, and anything that got > 50% of votes made it onto the wheel for the loser to spin.

Those 2 things are a ton of motivation for me..

I lost by over 50 this weekend. The guy I was playing had 140 points... playing Brady, Dez, Cooper, Stewart, Jaquizz, and even Howard last night. Its was amazing he had every player having his best game. And while losing Ware completely and having Hilton and Fitzgerald hobbled in part... even if each had great games I would have still lost. Badly.

Next week the guy who crushed me is playing the undefeated, first place team. And his Brady is on bye, and he doesn't have a backup QB, so will need to pick up a waiver QB. So luck does plays a big part.

Could use advice this week on whether to play Rivers at home versus TEN or Winston on road Thursday Night versus ATL. I might be able to move the player I don't start in trade or drop to address other needs. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have a waiver claim for C.West put in, what other RBs are out there to plug in this week? I have D.Johnson and Matt Jones on bye.

Slim pickens. Hightower NO. Antone Smith TB, Teron Ward ATL, CJ Prosise SEA, or Peyton Barber TB. Or gamble on Paul Perkins NYG, who is probably the best of the Giants runners.
