It's only been said once or twice in this thread, so I'll go ahead and reiterate: LeBron James is the best basketball player alive.
I haven't watched NOP this year so I'm just asking, but has his defense improved this season so far? Although he has been a great rebounder and shot blocker, his defense has been pretty bad throughout his early career. NOP has given up a ton of points in the paint since he has been on the team. That's his responsibility. Having said that, he is an offensive juggernaut.
I honestly might be a little high on this guy, but I want to say KAT is already a top 10 player and could become THE GUY in the league here in a couple of years. Higher potential than Davis IMO.
I'm talking about the ability of DeRozan to score, and not his height. NO needs him to develop sooner than later, in the scoring department.
Really hope he goes to a better team. Its like seeing KG in minny. Great on offense, excellent on defense, but the team is going no where.
From the game I have seen Nope. But he seems to have become more patient in his offence and making the right decisions. Also the NOP commentators are so damn good.
I thought KAT was at his level already but it's clear to me that Davis is still a level higher. The guy is just a beast. Embiid is coming tho...
That team is cursed, imagine if they kept EGO and Anderson in FA. Asik/Davis/Solomon Hill/Ego/Jrue Holiday Bench: Davis/Anderson/Stephenson/Hield/Norris Cole That's probably as good as the lineup we have this year and can go toe to toe with OKC and Clips for 3rd best team in the West.
I feel like the Pelicans are a couple of bad moves, mis-spent money, and bad luck from being consistent playoff contender.
Is the heat on Alvin Gentry yet? I know he isn't responsible for their roster or injuries, but starting 0-6 after going 30-52 is pretty stinky.
