Dwight getting calls he would have never got here in Houston. Embid got a foul, it would have been an offensive foul for Dwight here in Houston.
I just can't get over how little they go to Dwight in the offense. He is literally running baseline to baseline while the Hawks play around him.
Dwight clearing out his opponents, literally throwing people out of the way for Rebounds; those were offensive fouls here in Houston. Even still, He is frustrated. 3 fouls no points. The German guy is not very good in the PnR and no post ups.
Indiana is pretty bad. So many people were high on them and I didn't understand why. They have a bunch of parts that don't fit. My bold prediction is Paul George gets mad mid season and we start hearing rumors that he wants out. There's been a contract extension on the table for him since July the same one that Harden and Westbrook got. That's a lot of money and he still hasn't signed. My guess is that he's not sold on Indiana and if they continue to looks bad he's going To want out.
I agree, aside the fact that i've never been a fan of Teague (Bud knows...that's why he traded him for a decent 1st rounder to play Schroder...and Teague is also going to ask a lot of money next summer since his contract is expiring) and Ellis, but you know, a lot of people just look at the names..."if you play 3/4 big names together you're going to be very good", but that's not how it work, not always at least. Btw yeah, i read the same thing about Bird offering him an extension and looks like he doesn't have all that interest for now.
I wasn't high on Indy because of their D. But it's still too early to make definite conclusions about how the season will be. For example so far I have seen Hibbert balling out in OFFENCE and BKN without Brolo actually being a fine team. I don't expect those two things to last. What looks though that won't change is that the Magic may be the third worst team in the East.
Magic have too many parts that don't fit. I like their young players but it's not a roster that really compliments each other. There's like no shooting. I watched part of that Magic-Pistons game and I saw Payton/Fournier/Gordon/Biyombo/Vucevic rotation in at one point...dreadful lineup. Some things don't change (Vogel).
