I do not like our bench at the beginning of the season.

    Two games: 26 ppg

It does not look like good bench production to me.

Maybe it gets better once guys like Gordon, Anderson are coming off it and Pat is coming back.

I've talked about this in other threads but Agree.

Should be looking at guys like McLemore, Hardaway Jr, Ross, Cj Watson, Stephenson (if he gets cut), Caspi etc. that may be undervalued and blossom here.

Gordon and Anderson should be starting as they are. You don't make your bench better by putting your starters on it, you get better bench players. If Bev and DMo are ever healthy enough to play for us, our bench will be much better. How bench will also be much better by addition by subtraction, as in never playing Brewer and Ennis again.

If you're going to get worried about bench production after two games then you also need to worry about Indiana, Utah, Cleveland, Golden State and Toronto since their benches are scoring even less than ours.

Not worried but bench production gets you through seemingly not so important regular season games.

Two of our reliable scorers are injury prone - Gordon and Anderson.

Our problem isn't that alone, we just need more talent next to Harden. Ariza won't score 27 points every game.

Casspi can be awesome for this team.
He doesn't get much minutes behind Gay and Barnes so we could get him for cheap like Morey likes.
He's perfect for Dantoni's system and became one of the most efficient players in this leauge. Much more consistent than his last time around here, improved defense, running the lane, excellent 3 point shooter.
Would love to have him back

I would really love to have Marcus Thornton on this year's team.

I think we need to make a move for a scoring guard like Rodney Stuckey or Lou Williams.

Yeah, would be nice if we had a bench of: Bev, Thornton, Beasley, DMo and Nene.

So many IFs, so many bad decisions, so many injuries. Sigh.
