There's an urban legend that being prone to kneejerks is a symptom for performance issues. That's a very bad thing for an otherwise well functioning FO cause it may blow its load too quickly on fools gold.
Do you even know which insider I'm referring to? Nope. Then quit with the jokes. He's more reliable than Codman and a moderator in realgm.
Cool. Let's just ridicule everything when you know nothing. LMAO. Some people actually have a big track record and some reputation not every insider is a random poster or a twitter troll.
From watching him play since he put on a Rockets uniform. Terrible foot speed, can still get muscled around when covering other bigs.
I think the injury concerns are valid and make projecting what Dmo can/ will do be very tricky . I think the common narrative regarding Dmo is wrong too , both sides are being too extreme in their evaluations . Dmo broke out in the second half of 13-14 . By this I mean he became an actual positive on the floor most of the time . If one remembers correctly he was getting a decent amount of minutes as a backup PF and was really playing solid defense ; his offensive game was still very raw . He started getting his minutes cut prior to the playoffs and didn't get in during the postseason . I was critical of mchale for this , but can understand it as his offensive game was raw and he got called for fouls too much. 14-15 the story is that his offense broke out and he played excellent defense up until about feb. he started getting worn down and the defense fell off for the remainder of the season but the offense stayed sharp due to his IQ and skill . I'm high on Dmo , I think he looked like he was rounding into form while sill being a bit stiff athletically . With an offseason to further rehab and condition I felt that he could round into previous defensive form . I don't know what the physicals reveal , but they can't have been good . Is he damaged goods at this point ? Or somewhere in between? I think if the health was more certain , the skills and IQ would cause the rockets to bite the bullet and give him what he wants .
What does that even mean "as healthy as it will be"? Does that mean he has healed somewhat and won't get any better? If so, that doesn't mean he is healthy enough to withstand the rigors of a full NBA season. Or does he mean that he is just as healthy or healthier than he has ever been in his life, and the translation is just wrong? If so, then this is news. Actually, either is news to a degree.
Stagnant. No urgency on either side right now. But, that can change, especially if the Rox don't get off to a decent start. But, again, there are other available, happy answers.
