I wonder how many of them were among the 33000 emails that are missing?

i think this is probably the crux of the matter. if they just found additional evidence of classified info, they already that. if instead they found evidence of an intent to conceal emails...then there's a potential obstruction charge, and they can't ignore that.

and i think they already have some sense of what they have. if it was just more emails, and they hadn't looked at some of them and found something, then no way comey injects himself into the election.

i think there's something they can't ignore. whether we find out about it before or after 11/8 is another question.

Another instance of finding a bombshell that isn't a bombshell. Comey's statement is vague enough that the GOP is running with it. But it seems to be another case of no there being there.

Now, if they find an email in Weiner's wife's account that makes it clear Clinton's servers were setup to avoid the public record... then the GOP tribe can dance around the fire. Then they've got her nailed. Until then, it is just crying wolf, and unfortunately, that is gonna make the public numb to the real crime, if any such crime is found and proven.

In addition to the issues about the private server, if there is evidence that Huma used Weiner's (unsecured) devices to send/recieve confidential emails that has to be another charge, right?

    Seems uncharacteristic of her

Donald Trump and his Russian allies know no bounds. They have now set up Weiner to fall for this fifteen year old girl so that they could reopen the investigation.

    Typical Soviet-style tactics.

Hillary was a terrible candidate from the beginning. The Democrat voting base should be infuriated for not pushing Bernie equally. This is one of those "Obamacare" moments where the masses are trying to warn die hard Democrats what a disaster Hillary is going to be as a president. Democrats keep insisting Hillary knows how to 'work across the isle' to get things done. Republicans are going to do the exact opposite. They will hound her for the next 4 years over scandals, tying her up in congressional hearings for every misstep along the way. Her own party will feel no pity for her.

    Just remember:
DNC all but assured Hillary got the nomination.
RNC fought hard to delegitimize Trump.

I find it strange he would go after Clinton at this point unless he had something. Doesn't make sense.

I agree that Bernie deserved a better shot, but your premise about him somehow being a better option than a Hillary without GOP support is flawed. I always felt that Bernie's most significant shortcoming was his limited success in the Senate. He was and will always be too liberal

Similarly, I don't think Trump would be able to enact the vast majority if his ridiculous propositions. In his case, maybe that's a good thing ;)

But the Republicans would be willing to work with Bernie? I laughed.

Announcing 11 days before an election that a candidate for POTUS is again under FBI investigation is a bombshell. Abedin having a device not turned over to the FBI previously is a big deal

Having the FBI open investigations against major-party presidential candidates less than a fortnight before the election is SO COMMON.

    Happens all the time.

Holy Hades this election is otherworldly comical. The left rams through a complete turkey of a candidate and the right anoints an idiot with the attention span of an infant.

I think even funnier, sad as it may be, is seeing the left scramble, more like claw, for some comically bad rationalization.

Step back and think for a second: We have a candidate who may well be elected POTUS 10 days from now, and is now under an active FBI investigation. And she's supposed to be the better choice. This is how low we have come.

It's clear the FBI is now acting under Republican pressure - this is ridiculous. Comey is a Republican and to release something so vague 11 days before an election is disturbing. When even Clinton critic Republican lawmakers are criticizing the FBI for this move, you know something is up.

Hillary is terrible but the Democrats would have lost if they'd nominated Bernie. Trump would be raising the spectre of communism in every rally.

Clinton's reaction to email bombshell: "Release the information!"
Trump's reaction to tax return bombshell: "I will not release the information."

There's your difference right there. Owned.

So, do we believe that Clinton is guilty of further transgressions and that Trump's accusers are telling the truth?

Or do we believe that we should not rush to judgment in either situations?

Go ahead, rationalize how Clinton is guilty but Trump is not.

The problem with your side, BT, is that they are cocking the hammer back so hard to hit the nail on the head that they are first hitting themselves in the cranium with the claw and missing the nail completely most of the time.
