New York Times: Hillary Clinton illegally used private email for all State Dept. business

The emails were found on devices belonging to Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner, The New York Times reports.

So......This wouldn't has nothing to do with the server. LOL.

 

Not necessarily. They could have been emails that Hillary had deleted from her server well enough to avoid recovery that stayed on other devices. There were thousands of emails that couldn't be recovered because Hillary managed to have them deleted well enough to prevent recovery.

I don't care how many emails you delete on one end....there's always someone on the other end of the email who might not have been so thorough.

If you don't see how earth shattering this is to Clinton's chances you are clearly in denial.

I don't think it changes her chances at all. She's still running against Trump which all but guarantees that she'll win and it's not like she'll be convicted or even charged with a crime. She's immune to the laws of this country due to her political connections.

 

I know thats the way you see the election, and I respect your opinion. But even before this came down, Trump had been closing in the polls...3 points down in the Fox News Poll and even ahead in the LA Times tracking poll, and the Investors Business Daily poll. There are also polls showing him ahead in Floriday, Ohio, Iowa, and even or within the margin of error in North Carolina, Nevada and other swing states.

This type of information doesn't help Trumps numbers..but it absolutely suppresses Clinton's poll numbers.

 

Yeah but for Trump to have any chance he doesn't have to win SOME of those states, he has to win ALL of those states and it's just not realistic and IMO it wouldn't even be a good thing. Hillary belongs in jail, or at least on probation forever barred from holding a government job......but she's better than Trump.

Perhaps I'll end up wrong on this one, but I think it's much more likely that Hillary wins by well over 100 electoral votes than for Trump to reach 270

 

It's not stated anywhere in the letter that they are re-opening the investigation, just that Comey is supplementing his previous testimony and reviewing the pertinence of the new emails to the investigation.

Well said. Trump still has to thread a needle absolutely but there's no denying it went from basically no chance to ....hey....this isn't over yet.

And I'm still convinced Wikileaks hasn't released their biggest bombshells either.
