im just amazed that he did a 360 AFTER the dunk. Plus that was charging all the way!!! Also loved how Braggs went up to Boki like he just got shot. :)

i'm curious why there wasn't a charging foul called on Wallace.
it looks like boki had planted himself before Wallace took off, no?

Isnt the rule, that if your outside the line, but impeeding a GUY IN THE AIR,then it is called a block. They did this for KObe and Jordan. To build up excitement. Boki doesnt know this and didnt do his homework last year he would know Wallace in his limited playing time last year (and year before) has one of the best hops in league. He also has a great handle. Boki went for the charge waaaaay to soon and even if wallace didnt jump over him he had plenty of time to dribble around boki like he did all game. Further proof of bokis sucky d. There is no poor boki. When your a bad player bad things will happen to ya. When Pike and Adrian come back,Jvg shouldnt play Boki anymore for the rest of the year otherwise I wont feel sorry for Jvg anymore with his stupid "we deserve to lose" excuse. He says dont make excuses, yet he is making excuses left and right. The idea that JVG is a great defensive coach was nothing but NY hipe. Putting perhaps the worse Nba defender of all time in the game for 40 minutes shows he has no clue about defense .

That's my man from Alabama. Funny that was the only thing he could do at T-Town was dunk.

What I really see on this clip is a Three on one fast break.

SO if somebody blames Boki for poor defense, I don't know what what they should say about the four other players.

PLUS, Boki had no choice other but to perform a hard foul (I don't know if that is the spirit in pre-season). He had to cover two other players cutting through the lane. And he did so. Had he stopped Gerald earlier, Gerald had one (even two ) easy assists.

Some of you would probably have prefered that, but it would have been a defensive mistake.

Boki actually made the right call! He tried to play the charge. This proves his defense is more than ok. Because even here, some of you question if there was a charge or not.

The fact that NBA favors spectacular play just played against him in a big way. And I am not saying that the play was not spectacular: I looks great!

But Boki was also in a great defensive position, to avoid the dunk he would have to fould hard Gerald in the air, this might have created quite a row and calmed down Sac come back.

That is the only solution I see here.

That in the air bull**** is just that, bull****. That's a charge. It is only a block because it looks so cool. He was planted at the time Wallace left the ground. Kobe & Jordan get that call b/c they make lots of money for McDonalds not for any basketball related reasons.

I can't believe some of you are calling for a charge. Doesn't matter if it was Kobe or MJ or whoever, they're not going to call that a charge. Boki moved into Wallace's path as he took off, Boki almost undercut Wallace if anything. Boki got posterized plain and simple. It was still only worth 2 points though.

I thought it was a block as well, seemed that Boki wasn't 100% set when Wallace took off. But good God, Wallace took off from the dotted line. I don't think Boki was expecting him to take off from there. Like someone says, its only worth 2 points, and if you play ball long enough your gonna get your share of posterizations!

    It was Naaaaaasty though....

Boki also turned his body at the last moment. Not that it mattered, but he was definitely not set when Wallace took off.

He looked to be set when Wallace was still on the ground. Watched it 3 times on full screen. If he is set before he leaves his feet it's a charge, if not a block. I have no problem if you see it the other way. I'm no Boki fan or Homer. I just think some people get caught up in things just b/c it's a spectacular play. Nor would I blame the ref as that is a tough call.

Try right clicking and "save as" or "save link as". Be sure you have windows media player, or something else that plays wmv's.
