Anyone who thinks MCW is any team's answer at PG at this stage in his career is neither smart nor does he know basketball.

Morey is to trigger happy over names and trades players like Pokemon cards. I don't think he knows basketball really well

we lost a solid rotational player and scoring punch off the bench in Beasly for a turnover prone PG in Ennis. Stupid move, I hated it when it happened and last night proved it was stupid trade.

I have been thinking the same thing througout the years - does this dude know basketball? The more I see him talking about basketball in interviews or press conferences, I get more affirmative that he does not know **** about basketball. I am pretty sure he did not even know what pick and roll is and who Shaquille O'Neal was before he bacame a GM.

I see it the other way around : I think he is a basketball analysis enthusiastic but not so smart or good at it .
what separate him from Mark Cuban is that James Harden trade success , otherwise , he could not assemble a complete roster without clear flaws

MCW is the best name in all of basketball. It features Michael, Carter, and Williams. Why the Rockets didn't sign him? I don't know.

He is right here to make money period.MIT doesn't have word champion in there vocabulary, this is exactly why Less hired him to run franchise. To celebrate his success ,we are left to be happy with being Top 8 most profitable franchise last year. He made 74.6 mil. in 2016, #8 2015 and #6 in 2014, so not bad for not understanding basketball. However I doubt that current owner and gm willing to build a championship caliber team. First round in playoffs for them is a must, and 2nd is a plus, but no more than this.

Exactly. I don't understand why more of you guys don't understand this. The goal is not a chip. The goal is to make money by marketing the team to China, getting Superstars, creating a bigger fan base to buy Rockets crap, etc.

Who gives a s#%! about defense. Did you see the stats the guy put up? Did you see the Alley-oop?

The goal is MONEY guys!!! I haven't met any Chinese people in China yet that isn't a Rockets fan. And they couldn't even name 10teams in the NBA.

I think Morey's flaw has always been waiting on the big trade to assemble a superstar team, instead of filling sub stars around Harden. I understand why with all the super teams that have formed, but I think we could do better by getting one two or 3 more players like Anderson, Gordon and Nene. I think we should start by getting Rudy Gay, then go any other decent veterans that are not in their current teams long terms plans. On our trade block should be Bev, Ariza, Dekker, Ennis, Brewer, DMo, Mr. Underhand, picks, and Euro-stashes in order to upgrade this roster. Put the best team on the floor you can this year and stop waiting "TILL NEXT YEAR" to run after all the top free agents to be mostly turned down.

You should've been paying attention when I mentioned MCW! However, MCW is not the point I was making. The point I was making is.....ROSTER BUILDING. If you had to choose between MCW and Tyler Ennis, why in the hell would you choose Ennis? Which is basically what Morey did. When he is making a trade, we as Rocket fans, hope that he is making a trade to obtain better talent or to obtain a better fit and In this trade, from what we know that was offered, he did neither. And that's my grip!!!!

Chances of us winning a title this yr are low but if you continue to build a roster, in the next two or three years I can see it. But if you make a trade and then you contemplate cutting that same player, you are telling the fans and yourself that you messed up! Which is what he did when we had T-Mac and Yao. He never put a legitimate roster around them. And with him knowing a player's window is short, he can not continue to make mistakes in roster building.

This is the reason I listen to Sports 790, they call out our local sports teams for being MEDICORE and The Houston Fans for accepting it!!! It's about time we start calling our local teams out!

The Rockets biggest problem is its GM and Front Office. We were hoping to get another superstar we got him and they dont know what to do with him.

I would call myself a Houston Rocket's fan that's sick and tired of loosing. I'm tired of seeing management make the same mistakes time and time again. I feel Morey's thought process is, when all else fail go back to the players he know. When we were spinning out of control last year, Morey went back and got Josh Smith, this year he reached back and got Pablo!! So, I question his ability to put together a roster, what is his plan? What type of team does he want? What type of player at each position?

Don't just think a team full of superstars is going to get you to the Championship. IF YOU CAN'T GET THE SUPERSTAR, PUT TOGETHER A ROSTER OF ATHLETES THAT CAN RUN AND SHOOT. Don't go out and get a player put him in a position and hope he will fit. I hate the Lakers but for the past 30 yrs, their plan has always been the same.....big guards and a big man in the middle, from Magic, Kobe, Kareem, Shaq to Russell, Clarkson, etc. Not that their young guys are stars but they are players that fit their system and they are building.

I think he knows basketball, I am not sure he knows how players fit together, or how certain STYLES mesh....
