Why? It seemed to me that every time our center would go help someone, our weak side defender would not be where he should be. That's usually PFs and SFs. If anything I blame Dekker, Anderson and whoever was playing at 3 tonight on defense.
They should of kept Michael Beasley. Michael Beasley would of hustle for rebounds, and at least put some effort on defense. Ryan Anderson is a good shooter, both on mid range and 3 point shots. But he is so weak on rebounding and defending. They need to cut Corey Brewer and Ennis, I've seen enough of them already. At least we won't have scrubs anymore.
Pace is way too high right now. No way we can keep that up for the whole season. They were clearly tired in the 2nd half and notably the 4th quarter. We'll look better when Ennis stops getting so many minutes too. Offense looks so bad with him running the point because he's so scared and one-dimensional
We have a good center. He just sat on the bench all 4th quarter while the guy playing allowed layup after layup.
Yeah guys, the rockets are supposed to be a great team who are looking to rebound after a possibly embarrassing year, so it is OK to lose to the lakers and get out coached and outplayed by a rookie head coach and young team after d'antoni has been a head coach in the league for so many years.

James Harden will become a winner when he learns to stop getting dejected and to "want it" on defense as much as he does on offense
I'm pretty pissed right now...just an embarassing loss. Spent all the summer talking about defense and different mentality, and then you see this pathetic show...no defense whatsoever, no one trying to really fight to win this game, they just let a bunch of kids bully them...a phantom like Ariza wander around the court, Anderson and his 80x4 not able to do a single thing if not chuck up some ugly shots, Capela benched because he lost a couple of balls (when our main goal this year should be develop these young guys...)...don't know...just disheartening...
