Well that was unexpected. WTF happened Lebron, Westbrick and the rest of the league must be laughing their asses of right now. That dunk at the end of the game pretty much summed the game up. Still, it's probably just an aberration I think GSW gets their mind straight the next couple of games.
We shouldnt celebrate Warriors getting blown, since we're Warriors lite, with worse offense and worse defense. This might be happening to Rockets a lot too early in the season, playing top teams.
I would like nothing more than to see them lose, but honestly, it took Miami and Cleveland much of the first season to start putting it all back together after the merge. So this is not that unusual. Not really all that unexpected. It may take a season or two. However, they do need to worry about Thompson not getting his. As that is likely to continue and be an issue if he can't let go.
I didn't catch the game- but I'm looking at the box score now. What's most telling to me is the Warriors point distribution. Spurs had a solid/predictable spread: mostly Kawhi and Aldrige; Ginobli and Patty Mills with ten, one of their bench players going off for 20, and a few points here and there from the rest. For the Warriors, nobody outside their big four get double digits. The 5th leading scorer is a bench player who got 8 points on 25% shooting. I realize it's early and it's going to take some time for the starters to gel- but there going to need bench guys to contribute.
Happy. Unfortunately, they will figure it out fairly quickly. This isn't like the Miami Heat scenario where they weren't a perfect fit on paper. They all complement each other perfectly on the Warriors.
defensively they might be lacking at some positions...... like a bigger and better Rockets team but much deeper
