ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Mavericks 10/19/2016 (PRESEASON)

Yeah, Bogut's going to hate having to play by the rules now that he's not on the Warriors anymore.

 

Bogut forgot he's not a Golden Boy anymore. No more freebies from the refs.

 

Bogut: "moving screen!?? I never used to get called on those"
Ref: "you're not in the bay anymore"

 

They've actually been speaking pretty positively about the Rockets and giving us credit.

 

Beasley isn't doing any better and from reading the Bucks forum, they aren't thrilled with him so I don't really see it as a loss.

 

Would have a few more if he didn't mess up some alley-oop passes and some more open shots went in.

 

Would still have loved to have him the Rox though. He's still a premium post player if healthy.

 

The rockets played really good defense that half. Only shot 32% and are still up 9 and scored a respectable 47 points.

Capela looks really good on both sides. Anderson can straight gun it and harden looks pretty good, not his best game but he does have 7 assist and only 2 tos to go with 11 points.

We're not going to crush ppl every game. Even the 73 win warriors didn't have double digit leads every game and even when they did get way up early often times they would let ppl back in games too. It comes with the territory if your going to be a heavy three point shooting team. With that said you will win a lot because most teams can't keep up with that kind of pace for more than a half.

 

I guess this is why Bazemore was coveted by Morey.
He shot 39% from three with good attempts and also was a decent positive defense rating.

 

No we won't crush teams every game, but everything went in a funk
when our 2nd unit came in. Totally killed our momentum.
12 - 2 run ? We couldn't score for the longest time.

He specifically said he doesn't want to be on the Rockets. Forget him.

Ariza is terrible right now

 

Ariza used to be a 3 and D player, now he's officially just a D player.

 

Trevor looks worse than Brewer...
