I'm just not sure I trust this news. The hold-up all along has been DMO, not the Rockets. So to say that the Rockets will sign him doesn't really carry much weight, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not questioning the source, just the authority of a Rockets personnel to know whether or not DMO's agent will sign the contract until HE'S signed it.

 

Good to see any young player get rewarded. But I'd rather see Harrell get DMo's minutes. Harrell is a more polished all around player

 

Price wise maybe. But otherwise this is a compromise, slightly better than the QO.A coup is a team option.

This is a 1yr rental, then DMo is in charge.

That said, it's very common for first reports to not include an option yr, and we find out later

Yea I'm not sure if you've been watching any of the games lately. But I can tell you now Harrell's rebounding & defense is already better than DMo's. Offensively DMo's post game is a lil better, but Harrell is a better offensive rebounder and finisher at the rim. He also better off the ball.

Yep. At this point, Harrell looks ready to dominate at Rio Grande. Hone those offensive skills a bit and limit the mental errors and he might be ready for the big leagues.
