Haven't they had about 3 or 4 months of discussions? Also a bunch of interviews with "candidates". Then the two consultant presentations this morning.
It'll certainly help reinforce the fact that Houston is SEC territory and that the Big 12 weren't interested in improving the quality of play in their conference, they just wanted 2 schools to add wins to the guys at the top of the Big 12.
Whatever. I'm not even surprised by us getting left out again. My optimism that UH is just way better at keeping secrets than BYU and UC is low.
The printer stuff is silly in my opinion. I would think that every single school being considered is spending $80 bucks on some press conference backdrop so they're ready to go if they're selected. I'm sure UH has a backdrop wall ready to go as well.
Apparently Chip Brown's rep is so terrible, his sources confirming no expansion is being widely received as confirmation that Big 12 will expand. This is nuts.
You would be celebrating if the Big 12 added UH. 2025. Say it with me. No quick decision is needed unless it makes a lot of sense for all the stakeholders.
