Actually only a 2/3 of a year with MDA. I happened to look that up a couple of days ago. D'Antoni got fired in that first year. Woodson played him 20+ fwiw: he pretty much sat on the bench for two rounds of playoffs the 2nd year. Was not really in the playoff rotation.
Why do you think he signed with us as an undrafted FA? If he could play defense he would have been drafted and wouldn't be with the Rockets right now. Wilt can post up and take a couple dribbles. So already ahead of Novak. Novak was a terrible one on one defender. Wilt is not as bad. Wilt will fit well with our system. In a coupl eyears, might make Anderson expendable.
I'm sure that thought makes Morey feel warm and fuzzy, but RA was was more athletic as a rookie, IIRC...I think KW is destined to be more of a career 3 pt specialist like Bullard.
Not a good sign as he is a rookie. Once you can't play D there seems to be a trend of your shot not being as a effective.
