Gordon and Bev when Hardon is on the bench.

We need to get Gordon 30 minutes off the bench without having him try to keep up with top tier PG's too often. Can get about 20 by matching him up against the opposing backup PG and playing the 2 when Harden sits. For the other 10 minutes I think a KJ/Gordon/Harden/Ariza/Nene lineup would be great, similar size 1-4 could switch almost anything with Ariza and KJ taking the toughest assignments, give Anderson a break and still have tons of shooting.

With Beverley starting, the offense slows down. James Harden will be forced to ball hogg. Beverley is better in the bench, unless Mike D'Antoni improves his offense.

Gordon should start alongside harden. The thing this team has missed is an effective slasher alongside harden since parsons left. We need a second playmaker in there since ariza at the other wing position is a spot up shooter. The rotations will be such that I expect Gordon to sit first but we want the starting unit we saw the last game to start the 1 & 3 quarters of games to get off to a fast start. I believe that starting 5 (CC, RA, TA, EG, JH) will push the warriors starters in net rating. Bev shouldn't get more than about 26-28 min a game with E.G. healthy.

Mda has hinted at it and I expect to see a lot of wing heavy lineupes. Such as,

    Bev
    Gordon
    Harden
    Ariza
    Capela/Nene/dmo/rhyno

Also include kj, brewer in certain scenarios for anyone above except center.

Also I have a sneaking suspicion we will see an ultra! Small lineup similar to the following

    Bev
    Gordon
    Harden
    Brewer/kj
    Ariza

    But those are just hunches.

Starting designation doesn't matter as much as mpg really. I think gordon is better suited off the bench, because it will allow harden to control the rock and get a groove going and establish the offense.

I think he will and should get starters minutes off the bench as the 6th man. Gordon coming in fairly quickly then shoes the oppositions defense a new wrinkle because insert a new slasher and creator. This helps with how defenses will initially adjust and it will help respond.

I think they play heavy minutes together and gordon plays the harden role when he is on the bench.

    Trade Bev.

Start EGO. Either EGO or Beard can run second unit. GP3 and/or KJ should be D specialists. Time to invest in the youth and get some value from Bev while we can.

Trade Bev and WB, CP3, Curry & Lillard will have career nights against the Rockets every time we play them

I hear you all out about most of you thinking Bev should start; But I don't think ya'll remember but Bev was getting lit up last year. His D has def declined dramatically. I don't knock his effort tho.

Gordon as traditional 6th man. Do we really want a 2nd unit of
    Beverley - Brewer - McDaniels - Harrell (D-Mo) - Nene?

Gordon is too brittle to be chasing around elite point guards, let Bev handle that role. Gordon can be a playmaker against other 2nd units, and theoretically can relieve Harden some extra minutes too.

    I
I agree with this. Just because he isn' t starting doesn't mean he can't be a top 3 contributor, just makes more sense and makes our lineups more balanced. I see Gordon as a serious 6th man of the year candidate this year.

Yup. Harden and Gordon can still be on the court at the same time, but let there minutes overlap so we don't have a 2nd team offense that can't score.

As long as they lose, don't care about them padding their individual stats.

And Bev isn't too brittle? When is the last time Bev played a full season? Where is he now? Bev should be limited to 15 minutes per game max, starter or off the bench, with his style of play or he may never play and finish a full season again. Even if he is limited to 15 minutes a game, his ability to stay healthy will still be a question mark until he can actually play a full season.

Gordon is our 6th man. He's our 2nd best creator and will still get a lot of minutes, many of which will b with harden. I think you start bev or KJ, and always bring Gordon in 1st rotation.

I would rather use up Bev to preserve Gordon, than maxing out Gordon for short term boost but with long term health issues

I didn't say play Bev 30+ minutes. Just saying have him start and play him 17-22 minutes.

Looking forward to a second unit of:

    Nene
    Dekker
    McDaniels
    Gordon
    Prigioni

    For what?

Bev starts. Gordon is 6th man - creates offense when Beard not in. This seems to be established at this point that what is what we are going with
