thats cool. since you generally dont see live guitars, drums, ect in rap groups you just assume they dont play, but a lot of these dudes are lifelong musicians. bushwick bill was in austin last year doing some recording and some of my friends got to play with him. they would just come up with a jam and he would freestyle rap over them. apparently he was going to a lot of shows and asking bands/musicans he liked to come jam with him. not sure what will come of it, but it sounded interesting.
