When all is said and done, DMo will sign, and be a key member of the Center and Power forward rotation. Nene, Anderson, Capela, and DMo should all get major minutes and be used according to their matchup against teams.

Do you really think no team has offered up an offer sheet to DMo? You really believe that?

Didn't fail the Rockets physical - and the Detroit one was a farce.

According to whom... D-Mo and his agent? Seriously? I believe a certain T-Mac comes to mind when talking about injuries and being recovered.

    I don't.

In fact, I don't think most on the BBS understands that an offer sheet announcement requires DMo to sign it. So, I don't get the whole "No one has given him an offer sheet."

I've also become weary that some people believe a QO is Morey's actual offer vs just a mandated procedural step of RFAs. The QO was not/is not Morey's offer on the table.

All we really know is DMo hasn't signed an offer sheet, and there is no news/rumors/leaks of meetings with other teams. Sure, big names RFAs like Beal and Barnes (and most all UFAs) have early news of meetings and even leaks of dollars being thrown at them, but just because you don't read about that with DMo doesn't mean teams aren't telling him numbers.

If the board would consider that it is highly likely BJ and DMo have turned down offer sheets, just like they've turned down Morey's low ball, maybe we'd stop talking in circles with one side saying 0 out of 29 GMs have declined to give him an offer vs the other side saying they would but RFA matching prevents it.

Uhhh....both sides fail to see there is a third scenario, DMo/BJ are just turning down everyone at their asking price.

Players are already dropping like flies around the league, I would not be surprised if Armstrong suggests DMo to miss start of the season in hopes some playoffs wannabe team loses important big
Isn't it a huge waste of time to write your replies on twitter and then quote yourself in here? Why can't you just reply in here, like we all do? Do you have a full time job?

Not saying Dmo deserves a good long term contract or not, but he didn't really perform well last year.

averaged 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 28.1 percent from three through 37 games..

I know he is an OK defender and an elite post up player, but I am starting to wonder if the Rockets may do better without him. In a high octane system, do you want a PF/C who doesn't rebound well, can't shoot the threes above average, and slows down the offense? If Anderson is healthy, I'd not want Dmo to take minutes from him.

My gut tells me that Rockets think (or know) something is still wrong with his back, and only tendered the QO in hopes that another team would swoop in and give him an offer sheet that we're "unwilling" to match.

I'm going with: Injury or not, Morey still wants to keep him, so tendered the QO as a procedural step to lock him up as an RFA to make it harder for teams to steal him away.

Not seeing how you'd think the QO was tendered in hopes someone would take him off our hands? Maybe you meant, in hopes Morey can convince someone to do a SnT of DMo for ... I don't know ... maybe someone like Rubio? ;)

HP has a full-time job, but I know who doesn't :) ..... DMo!!! (well yet...???) I can't wait till this drama is over and either huge offer from anyone or Morey convinces them of that 1+1 or other rocket friendly deal.

DMo wants either a sign-and-trade or a no-trade clause that Morey is unwilling to give.

No trade clause? Sign the QO. Otherwise, beyond procedural No Trades please name every one in the NBA this year. Last year. The year before.

Those were elite numbers deserving of a big time contract in some his faithful followers eyes.

Beasley did a good job for us in that short period of time. Not only that, he's also healthy. But Morey got rid of him for what?
To me that means Morey values are totally different than our are on here.

You obviously did not research Beasley's OVERALL impact much. Yes, he scored, but he was not a net positive on the team.
