Eh, the Legion of Boom also damn near started every one of their members to try punt returns. Obviously didn't work for them, but you gotta think these teams evaluated the risk and thought the return was worthy.

One play I hate is the end-around though. Feel like more end-arounds result in negative plays than positive plus a missed block can lead to a devastating hit on the runner. So I'll pass on using Fuller for those

My biggest beef is, the main reason we're considering the risk is because the offense is struggling. So, do better O. The ST has already sucked for years... Ervin and/or Braxton should handle ST for this season, or, damn it anyway..

Brock do better, oline get healthy do better, play calling (namely better rushing and TE plays) do better.... the latter 2 have shown progress recently and should continue to progress.

I think you're right and that was why Blue was back there with him on kick returns. Ervin needs someone to tell him when to kneel and how to read coverage before bringing it out.

Steelers offense is top 5 but they still have Brown returning kicks. It'll help a struggling offense but can also fix one of most deficient spots on the team. I'm cool with Braxton doing it also if he shows that ability to do so. Ideally Ervin would hold it down, but man he's been pretty poor so far.

Well hopefully Ingram won't be returning any more punts. ;)

Fuller should only be returning punts when he have the other team pinned back.

I don't want fuller catching the ball with traffic around him.

I spoke to Tyler Ervin one day this week. I was pulling for him before, now even more so. Nice guy.
