Thats why A lot of people here really want DMO. We need the bigs to be able to move the ball and get some points off of the whole team keeping the ball moving. DMO and Nene have both shown that they are excellent passers for their positions. They can help compensate for ARiza's lack of playmaking ability from the wing. THo i do have some hope from Bev

Allowing an F grade league team like this to score 94 points is not a good sign.An even average nba team would be scoring a lot on us if we play this kind of defense from here on.

To be fair, it's mainly Jimmer Freddette who was in the NBA until this year.

Rockets Win! Nice game over all now on to an NBA team on Tuesday. Going to like Graig Ackerman do the away broadcasts. He brings excitement to the game.

Will be hard to get down to 15 by the season starts. IF DMo comes back it will be a tougher decision.

The offense still needs a lot of work IMO, but there's a lot of potential there. The defense is at least energetic (glass half full comment)

Felt like a good start though it's hard to tell a large amount with that level of competition. Harden hitting his first shot was great and Capella hitting the boards in a strong way. CC's FT shot was waaaay off though. KJ McKnucklehead is so mistake prone not sure he can get his act together.

Just got back from the game. Would much rather have Jimmer playing "PG" than Bev, Prigs, Ennis, etc...

I don't understand why everyone is so hard on Bev. Yeah he's not you're prototype PG but he does a a lot of great things for this team. He is one of the best defenders on the team, rebounds better than most of the guys on the team and isn't afraid to lay out for a ball or fight. He struggled with his shot tonight but I expect him again to shoot around 38-40% from 3 especially with this system. He's not as replaceable as many think. Oh and not to mention he's one of a few guys with heart. That's needed in a locker room.

I would say that it's not yet where it needs to be. I think this is because (1) the scheme is new; and (2) the team has a bunch of new players that need to develop defensive chemistry. If they are energetic and keep at it, though, I bet they can get to an average defensive rating (which is all we can realistically hope for).

You really can't grade, or even pretend to grade, team offense and defense from a matchup like this. It's just a scrimmage.

Our bench was shooting like 110% sometime in the 2nd quarter.

The only takeaways can be player skill developments / regressions and tendencies, I think.
