OK I have seen several posts on the CNNSI poll which excluded Hakeem Olajuwon from a list of the NBAs greatest big men. Who are the complete idiots at CNNSI that don't add such a needed and deserved name like Hakeem??? They even forgot Malone, Ewing, Robinson, and probably several other greats? Hakeem is in the top four big men of all time rivaled only by Chamberlain, Abdul-Jabbar, & Russell. Hakeem in his prime was way better than Shaq is in his prime and Mikan was good but I don't think he comes close to Dream. Does any one have an e-mail address or addresses that we can send countless letters of complaint, anger, and putdown to such simple-minded fools? If so please post it or them. It looks like CNNSI has hired a bunch of stupid, commercial minded reporters and analysts who can only recall as many big men as they have fingers on one hand but then again that's why I watch ESPN. ------------------ Arkansas' Biggest Rocket Fan!

Well I definitely agree that Dream is in the top 4 ever and probably the most skilled center ever. I have no doubt whatsoever that Dream is the best defensive center in history. Offensively we can argue a little bit for Wilt and Kareem. Media always tends to go with the big names and unfortunately as much as we all love Dream, he's not always considered in the same breath as Magic, Isiah, Bird, and Jordan. Timing, What about Russell. He is thought to have averaged over ten blocks per game over the course of at least one season. This was before those stats were kept. He was also a rebounding machine. Sorry but Hakeem's steal numbers are outrageous for a center. On top of that he's the all-time leading shot blocker. I realize they didn't keep steals/blocks in Russell's day but Hakeem's numbers speak for themselves. Throw in the fact that Russell could half time it on offense while Dream has always been his team's #1 option and it's quite easy for me to consider Dream the best defensive center ever.
