Looking ahead...The interesting dynamic will be what appears to be a competitive and emotional Lamar Jackson versus a more even keeled Greg Ward Jr., the variance between a senior and sophmore, and who can get pressure on the other's qb while maintaining containment. I don't see how a spy will work. Neither qb can be touched. So think this is going to come down to pressure and who can handle it better. Good news is Lamar Jackson was inaccurate again this week, the bad news is that did not matter again. Can't recall if we dropped back against Jackson last year or sent the pressure last year, but it worked, so I want to re-watch that game and hope we can duplicate. Jackson's one weakness will be inexperience, and can he handle the moment.

Looking at next week, we seek revenge on a few days rest.

Lamar plays the game like Vick.

Ward plays the game like Russell Wilson.

Ultimately it'll be the UH D vs Lamar Jackson that will determine the outcome of the game. Not sure Louisville D can stack up against Tom Herman O. Was listening to the game and the UH D was giving up 2.7 inches per rush in the 2nd half of games this season.

I watched the Louisville game. The Marshall dline was delivering solid pressure early on because the secondary was able neuter the passing game.

As soon as their senior safety was ejected for targeting, Jackson settled into a groove and blew the game wide open. It also didn't help that the Marshall offense couldn't stay on the field.

Bottom line is that we have a shot.

Yeah, going back to UT-Cal last Saturday this was the crappiest sports week I've had in a while.

I'm all aboard the Coog bandwagon.
