these ignorant ones were schooled by Obama Trump asserting that conditions for African Americans now are worse than they have been at any time in U.S. history https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...SNhU43Kfzsb9fpKfyaIh_A&bvm=bv.133700528,d.cGc Trump’s campaign chair in Ohio county asserting that there was “no racism” during the 1960s, and there wasn't any racism until Obama got elected.. http://crooksandliars.com/2016/09/trump-campaign-chair-ohio-there-was-no in an interview with ABC News' Robin Roberts in the new National Museum of African American History and Culture ahead of its opening, Obama said "Hillary’s opponent in this election, and his campaign chair in Ohio say that there’s never been a worse time to be a black person. I mean, they missed that whole civics lesson about slavery and Jim Crow ... but we've got a museum for them to visit. So they can tune in. We will educate them." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...er-knows-slavery-wasnt-good-for-black-people/
They canned Trump's campaign chair in Ohio (she resigned), but I wonder why? That type of sentiment is strong among Trump's supporters.
...THAT I don't understand. It seems counter-intuitive...Donald Trump's "straight-talking" and "tell-it-like-it-is" swagger...about just about anybody with an "un-American"-sounding surname...is what has him so close now to the highest office in the land. Maybe in a different climate (one that hadn't accept the Donald's outrageousness and contempt outright), it would have made some kind of political sense for an arm of Trump's national campaign to do this... ...but Trump himself side-stepped his whole King-of-the-Obama-birthers with nary a ripple in the political waters...he's even gone so far as to pre-emptively strike at the first presidential debate moderator, Lester Holt, in order to keep him from fact-checking anything he might or might not say.... ...Trump's campaign has (not totally inexplicably) thrived on this type of discourse...whether or not he is making some shallow attempt to win apathetic or disgruntled Negro voters...and has in many ways, whether or not Trump wins or loses, set a precedent that may take many years to overcome...and has undoubtedly opened the door for this campaign tactic like the nation hasn't seen since George McGovern's attempt back in the 1960s. ...doesn't she know that this is how they were supposed to make America great again?
The thread title made me think it was yet another TRUMP FOR NAMBLA thread. Spoiler Trump Pedophile Trump Great Trump America Trump NAMBLA Tax Evasion Walls
There needs to be a freaking app that tells us when Trump or one of his surrogates says something that they actually mean.
Vernon Ferdinand Dahmer, Sr. (March 10, 1908 – January 10, 1966) [1] was an African American Civil Rights leader and president of the Forrest County chapter of the NAACP in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Dahmer kept a voter registration book in his grocery store in late 1965 to make it easier for African Americans to register. Dahmer also made a public service announcement over the radio stating that he would help the local African American population pay a poll tax for the right to vote if they could not afford to do so themselves. His mantra was, "If you don't vote, you don't count", The Dahmers had been sleeping in shifts after receiving numerous death threats throughout the year. The Dahmers had a shotgun by their nightstand in case they heard gunshots and always had the curtains drawn tight at night to make it harder for night riders to see into their home.[7] On January 10, 1966 the Dahmer home was attacked by theWhite Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.[7] The family woke to the sound of a shotgun being discharged and the sound of gas jugs being thrown through the windows. As Ellie went to grab the children, the house erupted into fire. Dahmer returned fire from inside the house to try and distract the Klansmen while he helped hand Betty down to Ellie. He was able to leave his burning home but was severely burned from the waist up; Betty also had severe burns on her arms. The Dahmers' home, grocery store, and car were all destroyed in the fire. He was taken to the hospital and died due to his lungs being severely burned and smoke inhalation.[7] Before he died, Dahmer had told a local newspaper reporter: "I've been active in trying to get people to register to vote. People who don't vote are deadbeats on the state. I figure a man needs to do his own thinking. What happened to us last night can happen to anyone, white or black. At one time I didn't think so, but I have changed my mind."[5] Vernon Dahmer tends to be forgotten about in the history of the civil rights movement.
more ignorant ones jump into the fray In a conversation with "This Week" host George Stephanopoulos, Trump campaign manager, KellyAnne Conway---framing a false narrative around Trump's lie---described Obama's comments as inappropriate and did not address the accuracy of Trump's claim. "What Donald Trump is talking about in his speeches is bringing — is rebuilding the inner cities, is bringing more jobs there, is tackling full-on poverty and joblessness and homelessness in the inner cities and crime. But I think Donald Trump should also be applauded for actually trying to make a difference in these communities" by telling lies ??? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...sponse-to-trump-claims-about-black-americans/
