    "In the current run of comics, Harley is close friends with fellow sinister sex symbol, Poison Ivy. In fact, it’s heavily implied that their friendship isn’t quite platonic. It’s possible that Harley’s spin-off could focus on, or feature, a romance between the two. This may appear like pandering to teenage boys, and it is, but introducing a same-sex relationship to a comic book film would be nothing short of groundbreaking."​

    I'm not a comic book guy, but they throw a lot of money at those movies, so they are usually worth the price of admission for me. Suicide squad was kind of meh for me, but of all the characters, I definitely think Margo Robbie deserves the spin-off. Outstanding job.

    Interesting tidbit about a huge comic book guy: Kevin Smith's daughter is named Harley Quinn.

    Not being a comic boy guy, either, I just learned that a few weeks ago, and thought it was fitting. Nod to Dave2000 for telling me.

    She was the best part of that stupid but mostly fun movie. Can we get someone other than Snyder to direct this though? I'd like to not have to miss the end of the movie because I keep having to roll my eyes in the back of my head.

    Oh, my vote is for heypartner's first suggestion.
