Drayton Bashers: Is the Giants' Owner Not Committed to Winning?

it is a MONUMENTAL stretch to say that one of the MAIN reasons the Oilers left was Drayton's comments about the Astrodome. that game could have been played that night, just as regular season games were played there less than 12 months earlier...just as playoff games were played on the muddy, sloppy Candlestick turf less than 12 months earlier. that was a joke...a forced conflict that bud perpetuated. remember, it was bud, himself, who said the astrodome was fine as long as it had more seats...which we obliged, tearing down the scoreboard in the process.

revisionist history is really fun, though.
