Strategy Sessions

    This probably doesn't merit its own thread, but just in case it does:

    Is it just me or did Rudy's little talk we've heard so much about really have an impact on their play? You know, the one before Minnesota where he outlined what had to happen if they were to have any hope of getting to the playoffs?

    Since then they've been awesome - absolutely playoff material - and they seem DRIVEN. Motivated... They seem damned sure that they're gonna make some postseason noise.

    I heard they had another one of those "strategy sessions" last night after the (Bucks) game. I'm hoping this could become a habit...

    It's nice to see young players thinking seriously about strategy. For a Star youth like Steve or Cuttino to be even thinking 6 weeks ahead is a major accomplishment. To reconcile that with the immediate issue (game) means you usually win the ones that count. I really like the way this team is moving!

    Playoffs. This year. I can feel it.

    actually..it wasn't rudy that got the guys going. it's the team switchin' to wearing black shoes and black socks...that's when the team and hakeem "the team" started playing well. :)
