Didn't see this posted, but it appears Mil has shed the Mason. Would add needed toughest to our roster, but is his baggage worth it. What say u?

Dont worry. Im sure the Rockets already locked him up for a 7 year 42 million dollar contract.

Really its a bargain if you think about it.

With MoT injured, we have the following choices at PF until he's healthy...

Eddie - Hopefully he plays more of a PF role by hitting the boards, blocking shots and taking shots within the flow or off offensive rebs.

Cato - Will rebound and play some defense, but he's not as agile on 1-on-1 defense. Offense will be put backs and alley oops.

But if we bring in Mason, we have an instant performer whose familiar with JVG style play. Mason's game fits in well with Yao.
So why not? C'mon there has to be some opinions on why this move would suck.

Because he ruined the team he was on before. There is reason why they cut him.

    HELL NO!!!!

It's as logical to bring in a proven locker room cancer like Mason as expecting mooch to get a triple double.

Let him join the clippers or some other team that doesn't care about making the playoffs. They had high hopes from him in Mil, only for it to have the exact opposite. The "Big 3" & Karl all blame the demise of the bucks on his signing.

And you think we should add him to our list? We're struggling enough as is trying to be a team.

    Hell No!

We got Griffin, Taylor, Yao, Cato, and we can sign Cornell or Watkins or Badiane or Charles Oakley. Jackson and Muoneke can play power forward as well...

If he's willing to be 3rd string for a minimum one year contract, sure.

    But not likely.

Under no circumstance! JVG has got enough on his mind without all the upset Mason would cause.

Mason's agent said he'd likely retire anyway

He would rather play for the Warriors/Clippers in California where the minimum wage is $6.75.
